Upgradation of UPS Partitioning and Electrical Works

PART A: Undertake Partitioning Works for Makeshift UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) Room at Academic and Resource Centre at NIFT Shillong Campus in Academic Block Note: All debris / rubbish accumulated due to the execution of work shall be disposed of / removed from the campus by the contractor without any extra charge.

Providing and fixing aluminum work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminum sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminum snap beading for g lazing / panelling, C.P.brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : For fixed portion Powder coated aluminum (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

Providing and fixing 12 mm thick prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS: 12823 Grade l Type ll, in panelling fixed in aluminum doors, windows shutters and partition frames with C.P. brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of engineer in- charge. Pre-laminated particle board with decorative lamination on one side and balancing lamination on other side

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminum door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge. (Cost of aluminum snap beading shall be paid in basic item): With float glass panes of 5 mm thickness (weight not less than 12.50 kg/sqm)

Supply and fixing of 01 new door with door frame, Aluminum section with frosted glass and particle board + looking glass in the middle including required door closer, door handle etc – all complete as per the matching with existing design, colour of similar door, size 3 feet x 7 feet, top & bottom horizontal section of 4-inch x 2-inch size – complete in all respect.

PART B Electrical power wiring for 7 nos of 15 KVA Online UPS system for the existing Computer Labs, Class Room and Faculty room at Academic block + Resource center, NIFT Shillong

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning (SITC of 35 Sq mm X 4 Core, AL conductor, XLPE insulated, galvanised steel strip / wire armored cables as per IS 7098 Part - 1. stranded compacted shape Cl. 2 as per IS 8130 Conductor) PVC Aluminium Armored ,1.1 KV grade cable Remarks: For input power supply cable to all UPS

Wiring for circuit/ sub main wiring along with earth wire with the following sizes of FRLS PVC insulated Copper Conductor, single core cable in surface/ recessed steel conduit as required Remarks: For output power supply cable to the existing computer DB from all UPS

2 x 10 sq mm + 1 x 6 sq mm earth wire

2 x 16 sq mm + 1 x 6 sq mm earth wire

Wiring for light point/ fan point/ exhaust fan point/ call bell point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable in surface / recessed steel conduit, with modular switch, modular plate, suitable GI box and earthing the point with 1.5 sq.mm. FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable etc as required.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of LED 2x 20/22-watt, 4 feet length light fittings – all complete

Supply and fixing 63 Amps rating, 240/415 volts, “c” curve, miniature circuit breaker DP suitable for inductive load of following poles in the existing MCB DB complete with connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required, Legrand /Similar reputed brand make - all complete

Supplying and fixing following way, single pole and neutral, sheet steel, MCB distribution board, 240 volts, on surface/ recess, complete with tinned copper bus bar, neutral bus bar, earth bar, din bar, interconnections, powder painted including earthing etc. as required. (But without MCB/RCCB/ Isolator) 12-way, Double door

Supplying and fixing following rating, four pole, 415 volts, MCB in the existing MCB DB complete with connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required. 100 A

Providing and fixing H.T. danger notice plate of 250 mm X 200 mm, made of mild steel, at least 2 mm thick, and vitreous enamelled white on both sides, and with inscription in single red colour on front side as required

Supplying and fixing of PVC Casing capping size 75X50 Trunking along with accessories in surface/recess of or cutting the wall and making good the same in case of recessed conduit as required

Supplying and fixing of PVC Casing capping size 100X50 Trunking along with accessories in surface/recess of or cutting the wall and making good the same in case of recessed conduit as required

Supply and fixing 5 amps to 32 amps rating, 240/415 volts, “c” curve, miniature circuit breaker suitable for inductive load of following poles in the existing MCB DB complete with connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7-metre-long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and re-filling etc. as required.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.

Providing and fixing earth bus of 50 mm X 5 mm copper strip on surface for connections etc. as required.

Providing and fixing 4.00 mm dia copper wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing as required.
