Earth work in excavation in foundation and trenches in soils containing 50% or more of shingle or small size boulders upto 30 cm size, lift upto 1.50 m and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 m clear from the edge of the excavation and returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required, into plinth, sides of foundation etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m.

Reinforced cement concrete work in stair cases (excluding landing) except spiral cases including finishing and plastering the exposed surface with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface, preparing of the top surface and finishing, nosing upto floor two level but excluding the cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement with 1 : 2 : 4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete in walls (any thickness) including attached pillasters, buttresses, plinth and string course, fillets etc from top of foundation up to floor two level including finishing and plastering the exposed surfaces with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface excluding cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement in :

a) M20 (1 cement : 1.5 corase sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Brick work with best available local bricks in foundation and plinth in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand).

Re-filling excavated earth in foundations and plinth etc. in 15 cm layer including ramming and watering etc. complete.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering, ramming, consoledating and dressing complete.

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) finished with a floating coat of neat cement

Brick work with best available local bricks 75 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand).

Extra for half brick masonry in superstructure above plinth level and up to floor two level

Door /Window / Ventilator Frames:- Providing and Fixing factory made PVC door frame made of PVC extruded sections of size 75 mm x 53 mm, having wall thickness 2.0 mm (± 0.2 mm). Both verticalssides of the frame reinforced with PVC profile of cross section size 28 mm x 30 mm x 2 mm thickness (± 0.2 mm) and 75 mm x 200 mm long, including reinforcing both ends of the top frame with PVC profile. PVC Door Frame and PVC reinforcement profile to be mitred cut, jointed and fusion welded together, including providing and fixing 3 nos of 125 mm long stainless steel hinges to frame, fixing the frame with jamb with required nos & sizes of anchor dash fastener, all complete as per manufacturer's specification and direction of engineer- in-charge.

Flush Door Shutters:- Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched teak 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters.

a) 35 mm thick including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws

Window / Ventilator Shutters:- Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour casement/ casement cum fixed glazed windows comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame, sash and mullion (where ever required) extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, stainless steel (SS 304 grade) friction hinges, zinc alloy (white powder coated) casement handles, G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, mullion (if required) shall be also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes and silicon sealant shall be paid separately)

Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerancein dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made. a) Casement window double panels with top fixed with S.S. friction hinges (350 x 19 x 1.9 mm) made of (small series) frame 47 x 50 mm, sash 47 x 68 mm & mullion 47 x 68 mm all having wall thickness of 1.9 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead of appropriate dimension. ( Area of window upto 2.50 sqm)

WC / Bathroom and other Door frames:- Providing and fixing factory made P.V.C. door frame of size 50x47 mm with awall thickness of 5 mm, made out of extruded 5mm rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred at corners and joined with 2 Nos of 150 mm long brackets of 15x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19x19 mm M.S. square tube of 19 gauge, EPDM rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S. screws of 65/100 mm size, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer- in-Charge.

a) WC and Bathroom Door Shutter:- 24 mm thick factory made PVC door shutters made of styles and rails of a uPVC hollow section of size 59x24 mm and wall thickness 2 mm (± 0.2 mm) with inbuilt edging on both sides. The styles and rails mitred and joint at the corners by means of M.S. galvanised/ plastic brackets of size 75x220 mm having wall thickness 1.0 mm and stainless steel screws. The styles of the shutter reinforced by inserting galvanised M.S. tube of size 20x20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness. The lock rail made up of 'H' section, a uPVC hollow section of size 100x24 mm and 2 mm (± 0.2 mm) wall thickness, fixed to the shutter styles by means of plastic/galvanised M.S. 'U' cleats. The shutter frame filled with a uPVC multi-chambered single panel of size not less than 620 mm, having over all thickness of 20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness. The panels filled vertically and tie bar at two places by inserting horizontally 6 mm galvanised M.S. rod and fastened with nuts and washers, complete as per manufacturer's specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (For WC and bathroom door shutter).

Providing and fixing panelling or panelling and glazing in panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows (Area of opening for panel inserts excluding portion inside grooves or rebates to be measured). Panelling for panelled or panelled and glazed shutters 25 mm to 40 mm thick :

a) Float glass panes

i) 4 mm thick glass pane (weight not less than 10kg/sqm).

Providing and fixing MS grills of required pattern in wooden frames of windows etc with MS flat, square or round bars with round headed bolts and nuts or by screws.

Steel work in built up tubular trusses including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer welded and bolted including special shaped washer etc complete(welding to be paid seperately)

Pre-cast terrazzo tiles 20 mm thick with marble chips of sizes up to 6 mm fixed on wall on 12 mm thick cement plaster 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) jointed with neat cement slurry including rubbing and polishing complete with tiles of :

40 mm thick marble chips flooring, rubbed and polished to granolithic finish under layer 31 mm thick cement concrete 1 : 2 : 4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size) and top layer 9 mm thick with white, black or white and black marble chips of sizes from 4 mm to 7 mm nominal size, laid in cement marble powder mix 3 : 1 (3 cement : 1 marble powder) by weight in proportion of 4 : 7 (4 cement marble powder mix : 7 marble chips) by volume.

b) Light shade pigment with white cement

Marble chips skirting (up to 30 cm height) rubbed and polished to granolithic finish top layer 6 mm thick with white, black or white and black marble chips of sized from smallest to 4 mm nominal size laid in cement marble powder mix 3 : 1 (3 cement : 1 marble powder) by weight in proportion of 4 : 7 (4 cement marble powder mix : 7 marble chips) by volume.

c) Medium shade pigment with approximately 50% white cement and 50% ordinary cement.

Providing and fixing false ceiling at all height including providing and fixing of frame work made of special sections, power pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanized with zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm (both side inclusive) as per IS : 277 and consisting of angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6 mm thick with flanges of 27 mm and 37mm, at 1200 mm centre to centre, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fastener 12.5 mm dia x 50mm long with 6mm dia bolts, other flange of cleat fixed to the angle hangers of 25x10x0.50 mm of required length with nuts & bolts of required size and other end of angle hanger fixed with intermediate G.I. channels 45x15x0.9 mm running at the spacing of 1200 mm centre to centre, to which the ceiling section 0.5 mm thick bottom wedge of 80 mm with tapered flanges of 26 mm each having lips of 10.5 mm, at 450 mm centre to centre, shall be fixed in a direction perpendicular to G.I. intermediate channel with connecting clips made out of 2.64 mm dia x 230 mm long G.I. wire at every junction, including fixing perimeter channels 0.5 mm thick 27 mm high having flanges of 20 mm and 30 mm long, the perimeter of ceiling fixed to wall/partition with the help of rawl plugs at 450 mm centre, with 25mm long dry wall screws @ 230 mm interval, including fixing of gypsum board to ceiling section and perimeter channel with the help of dry wall screws of size 3.5 x 25 mm at 230 mm c/c, including jointing and finishing to a flush finish of tapered and square edges of the board with recommended jointing compound , jointing tapes , finishing with jointing compound in 3 layers covering upto 150 mm on both sides of joint and two coats of primer suitable for board, all as per manufacturer's specification and also including the cost of making openings for light fittings, grills, diffusers, cutouts made with frame of perimeter channels suitably fixed, all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the Engineer in Charge but excluding the cost of painting with :

Making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 stone aggregate using 20 mm nominal size) over 75 mm bed of stone ballast 40 mm nominal size well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand including finsihing the top smooth.

Providing and fixing Aluminium sliding door bolts anodised transperent or dyed to requred colour or shade with nuts and scrows etc complete.

Providing and fixing Aluminium tower bolts anodised or transperent or dyed to requred colour or shade with necessary screws etc complete.

Providing and fixing Aluminium handels anodised or transperent or dyed to requred colour or shade with necessary screws etc complete.

Providing two coats of acrylic water based wall putty/ wall filler of Asian Paits/ Berger/ Dulux over concrete/ cement plaster/ brick walls and ceilings both internal and external after removing all the loosely adhering material from the wall/ ceiling surface with the halp of emery stone, putty blade or wire brush, moistening the wall with the help of sufficient quantity of clear water as specified and directed by the department.

Applying priming coat with ready mixed genuine red lead paint of approved brand and manufacture on steel work.

Painting two or more coats (excluding priming coat) with superior ready mixed paint for steel work of approved brand and manufacture in all shades on new work to give an even shade.

Applying one coat of distemper primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface.

Wall painting (two or coats) with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture on new work to give an even shade.
