SPECIAL REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF STREET LIGHT SECURITY LIGHT RUSTED STREET TUBULAR AND VINTAGE PCC POLES AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT VARIOUS LOCATION AT DINJAN MIL STN

Dismantling /uprooting of LT unserviceable pre-stressed concrete /steel poles of any size and shape and including taking out dismantled portion of poles embedded in ground after necessary demolition of concrete foundation and making good disturbed ground surface properly and disposal thereof complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Earth work for taking out poles shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this Schedule.

M&L for steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer except the planting depth which shall be painted with black bituminous paint including writing pole number using suitable paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note : excavation and earth work, PCC filling shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base of floor complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in pole foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of pole including necessary form work for fair finish surfaces complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron as steel, protected by galvanized iron pipe 40mm bore (Medium grade) all as directed including cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 earth pit with precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover slab of size 42 x 42 x10cm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15 cm c/c both ways with 10mm dia mild steel round bar of 30 cm long, bent to shape as lifting handle, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers with necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I including testing on completion all complete as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs street light bracket arm of length not less than 1.5 m made out of GI tubing, 40 mm bore, light grade fixed to pole, etc with suitable size flat iron clamp, nuts, bolts including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide, zinc chrome primer on steel surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
