Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 1 x 1 x 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to a GI strip 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts ,check nuts and washers connected to test point or as directed including filling of 100 Kgs charcoal and 100 Kgs salt in alternate layers of 150 mm each making PCC Chamber by PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) and cover of 50 mm thick duly reinforced by 6 mm dia TMT bar in PCC of 1:3:6 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) and providing 20 mm dia light grade with funnel and wire mesh necessary 40 mm bore GI tube light grade for protection of GI earth strip up to test point etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I all as specified and directed . Note : GI Strip and protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr deemed included in the rate quoted.

Supply and fixing single pointed air termination aluminium rod 12mm dia 300mm long all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Supply and fixing aluminium strip 25mmx3.15mm with PVC saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors complete with saddle and fixing screws and down conductors above ground

M&L for Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw all as specified.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connecting to the Galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and steel earth wire protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 40 mm bore including provision of concrete pit made from PCC ( 1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) with 40mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 reinforced with XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 40 x 40 x 6 mm and handle of 6 mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI light grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom, 1.50 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt & charcoal filling, with fixing arrangement , funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil , returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres, all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connecting to Poles all as specified or indicated including testing on complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in hard / dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and getting out including trimming of sides, for laying of cables & foundation of poles, stay assembly, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable/serviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable covers from excavated trench all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Serviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable cover kept in safe custody for reuse at site and unserviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable cover through in low lying area.

Laying only old reinforced PCC cable cover of any size as retrieved from serial item No- 9.00 here in before, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for factory made un-reinforced pre cast concrete cable protection cover LV class type - I with size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm laid across the cable (i.e. width of cover along the length of cable) for UG cable protection on the top of the sand cushioning, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L Sand cushioning to underground cable complete all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part - I.

Taking out old LT under ground cable from trenches / floor / road / wall / pipe / pole of any size and description incl joint, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of LT UG cable XLPE insulated PVC sheathed galvanized steel strip armoured electric power cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade 10 sq mm 2 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-I), suitable for earthed system, laid in duct/trench/along pole/wall etc including nuts, bolts, washers, saddles & screws etc and making connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : 1. The cost of Al thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is included in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it. 2. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

S&F of galvanized iron pipe of 40 mm nominal dia light grade fixed to poles with clamps nuts, bolts and washers or laid under road crossing or fixed to wall including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint, including taking up/out old GI pipes complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of MS clamp, nut, bolt, washer and GI fittings etc shall be inclusive in the item rate.

Dismantling and taking down unserviceable / defective street light fitting / Flood light fitting of any wattage alongwith mounting bracket, flat iron clamp, nuts bolts etc from overhead LT poles complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation old (exposed) painted surfaces of existing LT steel tubular street Light pole, struts including cross arms, clamps etc complete and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer over the ground and making 30cm wide strip with black and yellow paint including numbering of HT/LT poles at a height of 1.5 mtr above ground level as per existing having 15mm width and 50mm bold letter complete all as specified and directed including Marking Red Stipn painting on HT Poles etc.

M&L for two run of 2.5 Sqmm Aluminium conductor twin core cable for connection of the street light with junction box / Over head LT line complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L, in replacement, Pole box outdoor type of size 14cmX19cm made out of MS sheet of thickness not less than 1.6 mm having hinged front opening door with two nos aluminium strip bus bar of capacity 63 amps fitted on resin based insulator and One no. MCB SPN 32 Amps rating and suitable size of clamps for mounting the junction box on Garden light post and painted with two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.
