Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr depth and getting out for laying of pipe lines in any type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 Cm each in soil complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

S & F in replacement of ductile iron sluice valve of 80 mm bore class PN-1.6 ISI marked (as per IS 14846 of 2000) heavy duty with flanged ends with high tensile SS spindle and gun metal check nut, iron hand wheel and fixing with providing suitable nuts, bolts, washers and rubber gasket for packing etc complete all as specified and directed.Note:- Any damage made to pipe lines, over head reservoir while replacing the sluice valve will be repaired by contractor on his own cost. Make:-Kirloskar/leader/upadhayay/sant Note:- Contractor will be intimated to replace the deffective sluice balve on telephonically followed by in written. Contractor has to arrange new sluice valves and complete the replacement work with 48 hrs after intimation failing which a penal recovery of Rs 400/- per hour will be charged from his payment. Contractor has to keep all required size sluice valve and T&P with manpower ready for fixing on urgent requirment and quote his rates accordingly.

M & L for repairing leakages or blockage of water in CI/DI/GI pipes of 80 to 300 mm dia bore de-watering of leaking pipe lines and trenches, burning out remains of existing lead joints to recover available quantity of lead and making new lead joint with retrieved material by providing additional quantity of lead as required at site incl all other jointing materials and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : 1. Total excavation and earth work as required at site to carry out the repair work is deemed to be included in quoted rate. No separate cost for earth work claim by the contractor.2. Actual quantity of lead retrieved from leaking joints may vary from joint to joint and the same be considered to the barest minimum owing to loss due to high pressure of water jet and flooding of water from the joints. 3. No any claim whatsoever in this regard by the contractor for loss or non-retrival of jointing materials shall be admissible and the rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of this aspect. Note:- Contractor will be intimated telephonically followed in writing for attending the leakages/broken or no water supply defects or repair works under this item.The defects or repair works under this item. the defects will be attended with in 8 Hrs of intimation and work will completed within 24 Hrs ofter intimation of defects failing which a penal recovery of Rs 1000/- per hour will be deducted from contractor's payments. Contractor has to arrange all T & P and manpower to attend defects on time without any extra financial effectand cost of all such aspect is deemed to be imcluded in unit rate.

Construction of Valve pit after dismantling of old u/s valve pit of Size 1050mm x1050mmx900mm (internal dimensions), Stone masonry constructton,tncludlng all necessary excavation and earth work in hard/ dense soil,returning,filling,in disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed , PCC in foundation of the mix (1:4..8) Type DQ (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate), PCC Pocing in PCC(1:2:4), type BO using 12.5m crushed graded aggregate, brick masonry in cement mortar (1:4) rendering, 12 mm thick in cement mortar (1.4) Internalty,ftntshed even and fair and pointing flush externally as the work proceeds in the same mortar, Mild steel angle Iron 50x50x6mm frame,MS sheet cover 3.15mm thick with handle and locking arrangment ,painting ,all the exposed MS work with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of tint as approved by the GE/AGE over a coats of red oxide pnmer and painting all the MS embedded in PCC with two coats of black bituminous paint etc, Complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

M & L for cutting of GI/DI/CI pipe 80 to 150 mm bore carefully for inserting fittings such as bend, tee, socket pieces, collar etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of 20 mm Ball valves (float valve) PTMT ,high pressure , with polythene float and fly-nut complete screwed for iron pipe suction pipe, including nut bolt & washers for joints and jointing material complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fix water pipe line route indicator made of size 400 x 300 x 25mm of precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-O using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Route indicator should be writen as main water supply line complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement of 50 mm bore air release valve double chamber as per IS 14845 including mounting GI pipe and clamps as per requirement at site suitable for cast iron pipe/ ductile iron pipe incl all fittings washer, nuts & bolt etc complete all as specified and directed.

S& Finrepair ductile iron Pipe fittings for spigot and socketed or flanged pipes i.e, bends, reducer, tail pieces, tapers, tees, caps etc of 80 mm to 300 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cutting of stone block pavement/road a depth up to 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level and in width equal to external dia plus 300 mm for lay pipe line upto 300 mm dia across the road in horizontal position and making good the cut portion filled with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates 450 mm thick from TOP over 300 mm thick hard core over filled earth to levelled with existing surfaces for smooth plying of vehicles etc complete all as specified and directed. The repaired portion will be match to the existing surface. Note • Cost of PCC ,hard core,stones and Earth shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tendered.

Disconnecting and removing existing unserviceable interlocking wiring and connection of electric control panels of any description and in any position after through checking and inspection at site and material & labour for repair of electric control panel and its interconnected system with using PVC insulated ,unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable,single core 1.5 Sqmm size, 1100 Volts grade for making functional control of the firefighing pump/water supply pump, auxilliary contactor,push buttons, indicators, Ammeter,Voltmeter complete as required at site for functioning of panel complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Work shall be executed at site by proper skilled,experienced workers . (ii) The complete panel shall be checked and tested on full load after necessary repairs and replacement of unserviceable parts for its smooth functioning and proper interlocking including tripping on single phase. (iii) Rate for replacement of unserviceable parts deemed to be included in quoted rate.
