Removal of Rubber deposits on runway surface using water blasting cum vaccuming system with suitable operating pressure so that the total rubber deposits removed from runway both ( rigid or flexible surface) by the method of water blasting cum vaccuming system with suitable water pressure water blasting technology without damaging to the exisiting surface. Total rubber deposits should be removed and the debris / water to be vaccumed simulteneously leaving no FOD so that the runway is available for operation immediately etc complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Approved by E-in-C's branch. Note: 1. The surface of both concrete / bitumen (rigid/ flexible) shall not get any kind of damage during the process of rubber removal nor to any adjoinong areas join filling etc. Damages made if any shall made good by the contractor without any extra cost complete as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. 2. Runway surface friction will be tested by contractor prior and after of rubber removal for verification of improvement in the skid resistance. All the expences in this regard shall be deemed to be included in the qouted reated in above item.)
Removal of Runway and airside paint by using water blasting cum vaccuming system with suitable operating pressure so that the total paint deposit should be removed and pavement surface texture and surface condition remain intact complete as specified and as directed.
