EOT crane of 5.0 / 20 Ton Capacity Maintenance including attending complaints , servicing , cleaning , greasing and oiling of Electrically operated over head travelling cranes double girder type Electric motor driven for longitudinal traverse, cross traverse, Hoist, microspeed in all motion (LT,CT and Hoist) Electric control panels, gantry rails, rope drum, brake, limit switches and ensure trouble free, smooth operation all as specified and as directed.

Note for BOQ Items No. 171:- (a) The scope of comprehensive maintenance comprises the following read in conjunction with particular specifications here-in-after and rate quoted is deemed to include for the same. (i) The repairs / servicing / maintenance works for EOT cranes including hoist hook universal type and shall be carried out by trained / skilled technicians and shall conform to standard engineering practice / code and as per the standard code / norms of Government and minor repairs. (ii) Attending to any breakdown within 24 hours and restoring the service. (iii) Insurance coverage for all technicians, workers involved in the works. (iv) Record / maintain register of all maintence carried out. (v) Adherence to safety rules and regulations in respect of EOT cranes. (vi) Adherence to security rules and regulations of the DGQA (HVF Estate) area .

(vii) A list of makes / brands of spares / materials to be incorporated in the works shall be got approved immediately after receiving the work order. (viii) All tools, instruments and plants required for carrying out the above works shall be provided by the contractor. (ix) All consumables like cotton waste, grease (but excluding wire rope compound, gear box oil, hydraulic gear oil, transformer oil which shall be measured separately) required for the maintenance of the EOT cranes shall be provided by the contractor.
