Heavy dressing of the existing road including dressing high spots, filling low spots and making up loss of material/irregularities, removing of all vegetation, cambering, watering, rolling with 8 to 10 tonne roller to obtain a specified compaction etc. to obtain a uniform formation surface with cross fall from the road centre line to the outer shoulder edge with allowance, made for required quantity of shoulder materials to remain in place to contain the new gravel layer. Works to be carried out in accordance with Technical Specification and as directed by the Engineer.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (ii) From Private Land

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures upto 3 m depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1104 includding setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material. Rate as per SOR - 2013-14 SR
