Manning & Operation of ELECTRICAL SUB-STATION MAIN RECEIVING STATION (MRS) INSTALLATION comprising of 1x630 KVA Transformer, GOD, HT/ LT Line, LT Panel Boards, HT/ LT Switch Gears including Operation of DG Set 1x50 KVA Capacity located at RAYANG MIL STATION by providing ONE ELECTRICIAN (SKILLED LABOUR) and ONE HELPER (UNSKILLED LABOUR) PER SHIFT for THREE SHIFTS (Each Shift of 8 HOURS duration) PER DAY, Continuous Round the Clock including Sundays & Holidays, complete all as specified and as directed. The Details of Works/ Operations of the Installation System comprising with the Works as mentioned here-in-after :-

Time Schedule for Operation of ELECTRICAL SUB-STATION MAIN RECEIVING STATION (MRS) INSTALLATION will be as directed by JE/Engineer-in-Charge.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation is responsible for Lodging Complaints in Complaint Register and Detailing the Manpower on Complaint Duty to attend the Complaints during 0600 Hours to 0600 Hours.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation is responsible to give Feedback of Details of Complaints Received, Attended and Pending with Reasons to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE E/M and Contractor during 0600 Hours to 0600 Hours.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation of Installation is responsible to maintain Daily Log Sheets for Electric Shut Down & Break Down Details.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation shall responsible for upkeep of Equipments and Maintenance of Installation in and around at all times.

Electrician & Helper shall carry out Daily visual checks of all OH Lines, UG Cables Termination Points and attend for any Minor Defects. if any abnormally/ fault/ breakdown observed during visual checks then immediately report to concerned JE E/M/ Engineer-in-Charge and Contractor. Early suitable action as deemed fit shall be taken by the Contractor with the concerned Engineer-in-Charge so as to avoid interruption in Electrical Supply System and any loss of Man and Materials.

Electrician & Helper on Complaint Duty is responsible to attend HT/LT OH UG Cable Receiving /distribution Lines.

Proper Documentations such as Log Sheets, Attendance Register, Complaint Register, etc. will be maintained as per procedure in vogue. Cost for the same will deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate. No Extra Amount shall be Paid separately on this account.

Proper Log Sheets and Register for Running of DG Set and Reason of Running to be Maintained.

Layout and Distribution Diagram of the Installations shall be prepared and displayed by the Contractor at each Sub-stations in consultation with JE E/M / Engineer-In- Charge on Pre-laminated Sheet Board of size 5'x3½'.

Contractor shall be responsible to keep the Installation Premises Neat and Clean on Every Day and maintain Seasonal Flower/ Decorative Plants in front for Sub-station including cutting of Grass Inside Fencing and Outside 3.0 Metre around Fencing of the Complex.

Pre-laminated Shock Treatment Chart 01 No. shall be made available in all Sub-stations.

Torch 01 No. with Torch Cell shall be made available in all Sub-stations.

First Aid Box with Kit with all Standard Medicines, Bandages, etc. shall be made available in all Sub-stations .

Materials such as Cotton Waste, Uniform/ Proper Dress i.e. Overall Combina-tion (Navy Blue Colour), Protective Clothing, Protective Shoes, Gas Masks, Gloves, etc. and Other Equipments as required for Maintenance, Manning & Operation of Installation will be arranged by the Contractor from his Own Sources for which Cost for the same will deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate. No Extra Amount shall be Paid separately on this account.

The Workmen shall be Minimum Eighteen Years of Aged at the Time of Appointment.

Minimum Qualification of the Electrician shall be Class-X Pass from a recognised Board and ITI Passed or Equivalent from a recognized ITI/NCVT in the respective Trade and the Helper shall be Class-X Pass from a recognised Board.

Quoted Unit Rate shall not be less than Minimum Wages as notified by Govt. of India/ Concerned State Government/ Local Body, whichever is Higher and also not less than applicable Rates for Contribution of Employer towards EPF, Contribution to ESIC, Contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective Headings/ Sub-Items.
