Earth work excavation in ordinary rock or soft rock (where blasting is not needed) (vide classification of soil item-C) with initial lead of 30M and lift 1.5M including dressing, making the sides in proper profile and the bed in proper grade etc. all complete as per specification and direction of E/I. E/W in excavation in canal by the hydraulic excavator(Rock breaker) as per designed section in soft rock (where blasting is prohibited) vide type of soil item -C with disposal of spoil Upto 500 with all lifts by tipper including construction and maintenance of haul road all complete as per specification and direction of E/I.(vide S.O.R. item 7.1.43.8 ).

Excavation of soft rock for all depth where blasting is needed, but due non blasting zone, blasting is not possible and the work to be done by controlled wedging and hammering including lip cutting. With disposal of spoiled beyong 30 m, but upto 500m by mechanical means all complete job as per specification and direction of E/I ( with prior Approval of Cheif Engineer )(7.1.13.3)

Earthwork in excavation of foundation trenches in ordinary soil (vide classification of soil item-A) and disposal of excavated earth so obtained to a distance upto50M and average lift of 1.5M including leveling, ramming the foundation trenches removing the roots or shrubs etc. all complete as per specification and direction of E/I (SR no7.1.27)

Earth work in backfilling of structures in layer not exceeding 150mm thick with pervious or semipervious or suitable soil from borrow pits free from logs, root, or any other ingrediets by manual excavation and carriage by truck with all lifts including watering, ramming,fully compacted and finely dressed, completed job as per specification and drawing of E/I. ( WRD 7.1.35.2) lead beyond 1/2 km to 1 km

E/W in flood embankment, canal banks as well as special repair of embankment in canal bank in grade A & B types of soil (vide soil -A and B) in proper profile excavation by hydraulic m/c and carriage by tipper truck obtained from borrow ared or any other sources free from logs, roots, or any other ingredients with all lifts including breakig clods to maximum 60 mm size, placing earth in layers not exceeding 225 mm thick all complete as per specification & direction of E/I.
