M&L for scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50mm and n nexc 100 mm deep, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a primer/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG-10 complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparing old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen VG-10 grade at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal , watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick WBM laid in one layer with coarse aggregates of grading 2 of granite, trap basalt (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny gags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for premix bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thickness (compacted thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹50 per kg.

M & L for semi dense bituminous concrete 30 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹50 per kg.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines , stop lines dashesh arrows etc and the like n exc 10 cm wide on roads pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1998 with special applicator machine complete all as per specified and directed .

S & F in solar cat eye (Solar studs) of size not less than 125 mm X 125 mm X 25 mm made of weather resistance aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by the Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM E: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The solar panel shall be high efficiency mono crystalline 2.5 V/60 m A and the battery shall be one Ni-mh type (1.2 V/1200 m Ah) high temp for backup of 36 hours full charging. The flash frequency shall be 60 ± 5 times per minute complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in for stud (Cat Eye) ABS body conforming to IRC 67-1977 giving reflection on both sides including fixing with epoxy complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 50-80 mm thick lime or sand stone kerb of roughly rectangular stones not less than of size- length 600mm and height 300 mm , dressed so that the maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 6 mm for top and exposed surfaces of sides and 20 mm for the rest of surfaces jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and struck flush complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of stone edging, concrete edging, kerb stone and including removing at site complete all as specified and directed

M & L for moorum /red bajri filling in paving ,laid in layers not exc 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed to form uniform and Consolidated surfaces with and including watering to required gradient and camber with 0.20 to 0.50 tonne hand operated roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for for preparation of old surfaces of kerb stone and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of different colour for neat and smooth finishing complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforeced) in floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (above or below ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in sub base of flooring/ hard standing complete all as specified

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed
