Development and Up gradation of Agatti Airport SH Re surfacing of Runway at Agatti Airport

Civil Items (1 to 8): Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and #filler as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (packed bitumen) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade (VG- 10/VG-20/VG-30) shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in drums (packed bitumen) produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% hydrated lime by weight of aggregates as filler material. # Filler in order of preference may be hydrated lime, stone dust or cement. The necessary cost adjustment shall be made based on JMF & availability of filler. Note: The bitumen required for the work shall be supplied in Drums of capacity 150-200 kg. The rates of item including all activities as per Technical Specifications including supply of bitumen from refinery to the site at Agatti Airport.

Refineries and 2% hydrated lime by weight of aggregates as filler material]. # Filler in order of preference may be hydrated lime, stone dust or cement. Refineries and 2% hydrated lime by weight of aggregates as filler material]. # Filler in order of preference shall be hydrated lime, stone dust or cement. The necessary cost adjustment shall be made based on JMF & availability of filler. Note: The bitumen required for the work shall be supplied in Drums of capacity 150-200 kg. The rates of item including all activities as per Technical Specifications including supply of bitumen from refinery to the site at Agatti Airport.

Providing and applying tack coat (*using bitumen emulsion (Rapid setting) complying with IS:8887 or suitable low viscosity paving bitumen of VG 10 grade conforming to IS:73), spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.20 Kg/Sqm on existing bituminous surface Note: The bitumen required for the work shall be supplied in Drums of capacity 150-200 kg. The rates of item including all activities as per Technical Specifications including supply of bitumen from refinery to the site at Agatti Airport.

Construction of embankment with moorum obtained from borrow pits/quarry with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading in required slope and compacting to meet requirement of MORTH 2019 specifications.

Painting road surface marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS : 164, on bituminous surface in white/yellow shade, including cleaningthe surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete. New work (Two or more coats)

White washing with lime to give an even shade : 13.87.1 Old work (two or more coats)

Add for transporting charges for machinery from Mangalore/Beypore port to Agatti Airport Site and back to mangalore/Beypore port including Loading and unloading etc. ( Refer Special Condition of Contract (Civil), Page No.SCC (Civil) -24)

Electrical Items (9 to 28): Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of C.I Adapter (collar) with outside dia 330 mm and height 75MM made of 10mm thick all round except on top surface which is 15mm thick having a clear opening of 220mm at the top surface and 6 nos. M10 tapped holes at the hole centre of 260mm to receive light fittings base plate and bolts, and fixing on the existing C.I Box for runway elevated edge light fittings. Job includes removing of existing fitting and fixing of adapter and supplying two nos. of gasket one for adapter fixing and one for base plate installations along with new 12 nos. of M-10 SS Bolts (6 Nos. for adapter fixing and 6 Nos. for base plate fixing) and re-installation of existing edge light fitting with all connections etc., complete as required. Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) for foundation work of edge light fitting with ramp surface finishing etc., complete as required.
