(d) Laying APP modified water proofing membrane with 100mm overlap in longitudinal direction and 100mm overlap in transverse direction sealed and bounded to the surface by torch application method. (e) All joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 with SBR latex @ 200ml per bag of cement and cured well before laying the membrane. A fillet of PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates shall be provided at all junctions of vertical and horizontal surfaces and wherever there is change of direction. NOTE:- (i) Work of water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the authorised applicator of the manufacturer. (b) The work of applying exterior acrylic emulsion paint shall be carried out by authorized representative/applicator of the manufacturer. (c) A Guarantee of 5 yrs from the certified date of completion for the effectiveness of exterior acrylic emulsion weather coat paint shall be submitted by the manufacturer and contractor. (d) A Security deposit @2.5% of the amount of treatment shall be deposited by the contractor for the entire guarantee period i.e. 5 yrs in the form of FDR in favour of GE. (e) During the guarantee period if exterior acrylic emulsion weather coat paint gets removed or becomes layered contractor shall rectify or replace (at his option) defective materials at his own expenses, when called upon in writing to do so by the GE. Condition 46 of IAFW-2249 (defects liability period) for the guarantee period shall be deemed amended accordingly for the work..

Complete removal of existing treatment on walls (any number of layers) by scrapping with steel scrappers or any other means including filling depressions of scrapped surfaces with putty and preparation of surfaces for further treatment and M&L for applying two coats distemper oil emulsion, white or tinted complete all as specified and directed. [NOTE:- 3mm thick wall care cement putty where ever required shall be measured & paid separately.]

M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) to buildings with synthetic enamel paint, n.exc. 150mm long and 20mm wide in words & figures (e.g. P-1, P-27, T-123, T-81/2, etc) over black synthetic enamel painted back ground of n.exc.300mm dia including obliterating old writing of any description n exc 0.10 sqm with paint to match existing work complete all as specified and directed. Note - "P-1", "P-27", "T-123", "T-81/2", etc shall be considered as one unit for measurement purpose.

S&F chicken wire mesh with mesh size 25mm made from 1.20mm dia galvanised low carbon wire fixed on walls, columns, beams, etc using solid dowels nails or anchor bolts, etc prior to plastering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edge including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L ShaliCryl® 215 single component, UV resistant, unique elastomeric, high buil exterior waterproofing coating based on a revolutionary acrylic polymer with quick-set capabilities to resist moisture attack in the following sequence complete as per manufacturer’s instructions and all as specified and directed:- (a) Surface preparation: Remove all loose & foreign materials, if any, by a wash with a jet of air/water. Repair structural defects before application of ShaliCryl® 215. Fill voids and undulation area with Polymer Mortar made out of ShaliSBR Latex, Water, Cement and Sand in the Ratio of 1:1:5:12.5. Fill cracks up to 3 mm with PlastiSeal and cracks over 3 mm with PlastiSeal P after opening the crack to a “V” cut. In case of any poor plaster surface remove the same and provide plaster with cement: sand mortar in the ratio of 1 : 4 admixed with ShaliPlast LW+ @ 200 ml / bag of cement. (b) Primer Application: - Apply ShaliPrime WB as Primer after dilution with potable water in the ratio 1:0.5 for a theoretical Coverage 8-10 sqm/ L of the mix and allow it to dry for 3 – 4 hrs. post elimination of undulation, roughness of concrete, joint marks, Voids and any other surface correction. (c) Application of Material :- Apply first coat of ShaliCryl® 215 over the primed surface @ 160 ml / m2 . Add maximum of 10% potable water by volume for the first coat only, if required, to have brushable consistency only. Allow the applied coating to dry 6 – 8 hrs of application. Apply second coat of ShaliCryl® 215 without dilution over dried first coat @ 140 ml / m2 and allow it to dry. Do not undertake any further work over the coated area within 72 hrs of final coat. A coat of 100 micron of ShaliCryl TC 100 will improve water / dust repellent property.
