Taking down carefully VCB 11 KV capacity, outgoing feeder removing all connections, material complete and deposited to MES store for keeping in safe custoduy or re-use at site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully Tap changer panel, C&R Panel, etc complete removing with connecting material complete and deposited to MES store for keeping in safe custody or re-use at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, installing, commissioning & testing HT 11 KV, 3 Phase 50 Hz, rupturing capacity 350 MVA, indoor type, totally metal clad with-drawable type Vacuum Circuit Breaker outgoing panels with copper bus bar of suitable rating horizontal isolation type VCB of capacity 800 Amps rated current as per IEC 62271-100-200. The switchgear panel shall be of sheet steel construction Not less than 2.5 mm thickness for load bearing section and not less than 2 mm thickness for non-load bearing section and shall be totally dust and vermin proof. The panel shall be tested for IAC level 25 KA No of operation of Vacuum Interrupter Bottles for better performance (i) Mechanical life – 30,000 cycles (ii) Rated electrical operations – 10,000 Cycles (iii) Rated Short Circuit current – as per IEC 62271-100-200. All the main components like VI/VCB/Relays/Meters shall be of same make as per Panel VCB parameters are as below: (i) Rated voltage level/PF withstand voltage/Impulse level 12KV/28KV/75 KVp (ii) Continuous current rating minimum 800 Amp (iii) Short circuit withstand current rating 25 KA for 3 seconds (iv) 01 No. minimum 800 amps horizontal draw out type vacuum circuit breaker in 12 KV metal clad floor mounted panel complete with following : - (a) Manually & motor operated(230V AC,50 Hz) spring charged type, manually and electrically open (electrical (220VDC) operation type, incorporating mechanical as well as electrical ON/OFF indication “OFF’ push button, test/service position limit switches, with minimum 6NO+6NC breaker auxiliary contacts in C5 service position. (b) Epoxy cast wound current transformer (CT) 11 KV, 400-200/5-5A, core 1: class 1, 15 VA for 3 phase, core 2 5P10, 15VA burden class with metering and protection core including necessary wiring. (c) Manual charging of breaker should be done without opening the front door. (A) Protection arrangements for the breaker shall comprise of the following: -

(h) Breaker control switch with lost motion device -01 No (l) Numerical Transformer differential protection relay suitable for 1A, Aux, supply 220 V DC - 01 No. (j) Flush mounted numerical Earth fault and overcurrent IDMT protection relay with aux Voltage 220 Volt DC -01 No (k) Flush mounted High speed master tripping relay (86 Type) with aux voltage 220 Volt DC. (l) Flush mounted auxiliary TRIPPING relay for Transformer faults three pair of Relay elements -01 No (m) Flush mounted auxiliary Alarm relay for Transformer faults three pair of Relay elements -01 No (n) DP MCB 10 A, 4A -2 Nos (s) Space heater 110 W 240 V AC with thermostat setting rang 0-600C - 01 Set. (o) 20 watts tube light with door switch -01 set. (p) Aux plug in type relay with changover contacts and 11 pin socket suitable for 110 V DC -07 Nos. (q) Aux plug in type relay with changover contacts and 11 pin socket suitable for 240 V, AC. (r) Test terminal block 3 Ph, 3 wire, suitable for rear connections -01 No (s) LED type indicating Light Aux Volt 220 Volt DC - 07Nos (t) Push bottom DC fail test, DC Fail accept, Healthy Test TC1, TC2 -05 Nos

Note: (i) Pre-dispatch inspection of C&R Panel shall be carried out by representative of Accepting officer. All arrangements for the same shall be made by the contractor within overall quoted cost. (ii) Testing and commissioning of C&R Panel, VCB & tap Changer panel including checking of compatibility with existing 8 MVA transformer and 66 KV System shall be done by the PSPCL department . The contractor will deposit the calibration/testing and commissioning charges whatsoever to PSPCL department and make necessary arrangemennts for the testing and commissioning of above mentioned breaker and panel. The charges of PSPCL department included in the quoted rate and nothing extra on this acount shall be paid separately. (iii) Approval of the drawing of Item No 3 & 4 to be taken from Engineer-in-charge before placing the order. (iv) Any other provisions required for proper functioning the new VCB and Control panels with existing 8 MVA power transformer and 66 KV sysstem as per instruction of PSPCL to be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrods of size 60cmx60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically(earth pit not less than 3.35 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.75 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron 32x6mm by means of bolts nuts check nuts and GI washers of Galvanised iron protected by steel pipe 15mm (light grade) all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and connecting to earthing test point (earth test point to be provided at 5 mtr distance from earth pit) and testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal dust and comman salt in alternate layers 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe,funnel,wire mesh.concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 for pit and RCC pit cover. PCC pit shall be provided 50 cm away from earth pit and not on the earth pit itself. The extra cost of the watering pipe,bends,elbows shall be included in the unit rate.Note : RCC pit cover shall be of precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed.
