Taking down and dismantling old unserviceable damaged, broken / rusted strips including connected items from buildings walls and roofs complete all as directed.

S&F, aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws as roof / down conductors on insulators or fixed in GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing of aluminium strip obtained from item No 1 with new saddles and fixing screws as roof / down conductors on insulators or fixed in GI pipe complete all as directed. Note for item No 2 & 3: 1. Quoted rate shall be deemed to include cost of cutting and jointing aluminium strips with minimum No of rivets/bolt & nuts. 2. Insulators and GI Pipe will be measured and paid separately.

S&F in repairs, porcelain/epoxy, white / brown / green spacer insulator with one GI stud bolt with nut and washer with necessary drilling for bolt hole for holding or fixing roof / down conductor of lightning complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repairs, 20mm dia GI light grade pipe with suitable clamps for fixing of air termination rod and earth strip on roof complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs, air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long with fixing arrangement complete all as specified and as directed

S&F in repairs, test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75x75x25mm, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, Earth continuity conductor with 20 x 3mm copper strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases with necessary porcelain insulators or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe/wall or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs, Earth continuity conductor with 32 x 6mm copper strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases with necessary porcelain insulators or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe/wall or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs, GI Earth strip 25 x 4mm as in earth continuity conductor fixed to wall on battens or recess or chases with necessary porcelain insulators or buried on ground or drawn in conduit/pipe/wall or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc., complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, GI Earth wire 4mm dia as in earth continuity conductor fixed to wall on battens or buried on ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs, Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to GI strip 25 x 4mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Notes: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover slab reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe medium grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl Page No. 446 of SSR Part-II.

GI earth Strip beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately.

M&L in repairs, Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Note: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 50mm thick cover slab reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe medium grade 15mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl. Page No. 446 of SSR Part-II.

GI earth wire beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately.

M&L, Maintenance free chemical earthing consisting of earth electrode of high tensile low carbon copper bonded steel rod 17.2mm dia 3000mm length, outer surface of electrode shall be molecularly bonded with copper having thickness of 250microns, electrode shall be placed in an mechanized augured hole and backfilled with 30Kg carbon based conductive concrete type compound which has a resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm metre as per clause 14.5D of IEEE:80 standard including 17.2mm tin coated brass clamps both sides, the pit shall be installed with a manhole with top cover, measurement of earth resistance and providing test reports complete all as directed.

Notes: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, suitable HDPE earth pit cover, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) & (c) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl Page No. 446 of SSR Part-II.

Copper strip from the earth pit to panel/ equipment and GI protection pipe will be measured and paid separately.

The earth resistance value for each location should be less than 1 Ohm and shall be measured, calibrated with earth resistance megger and same shall be certified by concerned user department.

The Earth pits under Sl item No 12 to 15 shall be numbered as per the work center and named on the earth pit using bituminous paint all as directed.

Cutting of existing bituminous/PCC road or flooring/plinth protection, to a width of 45cm and depth of 60cm for laying of GI pipe in road intersection for passing of LT XLPE cable including excavation in any type of soil, returning and filling in and making good top 30cm of the trench by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate to flush with existing road surface complete all as directed.

S&F in repairs, 40mm dia GI pipe light grade fixed to walls or laid in trenches etc., for protection of earth strip including sealing ends with hessian cloth impregnated with bituminous compound in ground and with teak wood bushes for ends fixed on walls complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, 15mm dia GI pipe light grade fixed to walls or laid in trenches etc., for protection of earth strip including sealing ends with hessian cloth impregnated with bituminous compound in ground and with teak wood bushes for ends fixed on walls complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, LED Aviation obstruction light, yellow painted, die-cast aluminum housing with red polycarbonate dome for better illumination, IP 65, surge and short circuit protection, wide operating voltage and suitable accessories fixed at any height complete all as specified and directed.
