Renovation of Service Road of Kanpur Branch From Km. 15.460 to Km. 16.200

Earth work in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil ,excavation to be in the form of regular pits and Earth work in embankment to be in 20cm layers including ramming and dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 m lift and 30m lead. The earth form cutting to be usedin making embankment or to be deposited as spoil bank. as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material,spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface,mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC ,and compacting with smooth wheels roller to achieve the desired density,complete as per technical Specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sized to water bound macadam (75 mm thick)specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel static roller 80-100 kn in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading II as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sized to water bound macadam (75 mm thick)specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel static roller 80-100 kn in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading III as per Technical Specification Clause 405

Providing and laying primer coat with bitumen on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical mrans as per Technical Specification Clause 502.

Providing and applying tackcoat with bitumen (VG-10) using bitumen distributor at the rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom including all cost of labour T&P, material, carriage cost, compection,etc. required to complete the work at site , as per direction of engineer in charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids on bituminious( VG-10) surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross falls using Type C, including all cost of labour T&P, material, carriage cost, compaction,etc. required to complete the work at site , as per direction of engineer in charge.

Brick edging on both side of the road of class M -150 Bricks 8cm wide and 12cm deep laid with mud mortar i/c all labour and supply of bricks finished to required template and ramming the excavated earth as ditected by the engineer - in - charge
