COMPREHENSIVE AND PREVENTIVE MAINT OF DG SET 3X500 KVA INCL REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE INTERNAL WIRING, FLP FITTING, FLP SWITCHES, CONDUIT, SECURITY LIGHTS, CONTROL PANELS AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS AT TP COMPLEX AT AFS DIGARU.

Repair/maintenance of DG set of cap 3x500 KVA (Make -Cummins) water cooled type Model KTA-19-G9, KTAA-19-G10, KTA-19-G9 through the OEM of M/S Cummins or authorized dealer of M/S Cummins for following parts and equipments by servicing/ descaling of raditor and replacing any type of spare parts mentioned in Srl item No. - 2.00 as an when required to DG Set complete all as specified and directed including the following:-

The cost of spare and labour for any servicing minor and major repair of DG Set as when required or as recommended by the OEM during inspection /analysis report (Except for spare listed Sl No. 2.00 here in after) shall be responsibility of the contractor and the unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of the same.

The service from M/S Cummins along with all technicians and engineer equipped with all required T&P shall visit the plant on monthly basis to carry out necessary inspection /servicing/ repairing of the plant shall be submit the inspection/servicing report to Engineer-in-charge any repair shall be inspection of carried out immediately (First inspection shall be carried out with in 15 days from placing the work order or as directed by Engineer-in-charge)

In addition to the above mentioned servicing and repairing schedule any complaint /defect/breakdown /defect/fault in the Dg set system will be attended with 24 hours from the time of registering the complaint verbally /telephonically /via email or any mode of communication.

In case of any break down /defect/fault in the Dg sets due to which the Dg set in put more than 24 hours the following penalties shall be imposed on the contractor:- (a) Rs -5000/- (Ruppes five thousand only) shall be recovered for not attending the defect/faultwith in 24 hours from lodging the complaint telephonically via e-mail/verbally. (b) Thereafter Rs- 5000/- will be added for every subsequent 12 Hours period till rectification of defect and making the plant functional (c) Contractor will provied Tele phone No, Mobile No and e-mail of his responsible persons and OEM who can be contacted in case of emergency to lodge the complaint along with his own details. (d) Original spare parts supplied by M/S Cummins will only be used for any replacement spare, spare arranged from any other source will not be allowed. (e) All consumables such a cotton waste ,nut bolt,washer,screw cleaning agents gasket and safety device for work men shall be provided by the contractor and unit rate quoted shal be deemed to the include the the cost of the same.

M/S Cummins will cover the following scope of work- (a) Inspection of DG Sets 03 Nos has to be carried out in monthly basis. (b) Servicing of DG Sets 03 Nos has to be carried out quarterly basis. (c) Checking oil level of DG sets and checking and rectification of leakage if any and filling/topping up with new engine oil up to the required level. (d) Checking functioning of all system and making adjustment for proper working. (e) Checking moving system any abnormal sound and checking mounting and fixing arrangment. (f) Checking of coupling system and tighting off nut bolts. (g) Checking of all switches. (h) Checking of batterys and tighting battery terminal. (i) Checking raditor coolant level checking any leakage any filling/topping up with new coolant. (j) Checking the all indication system of Dg sets and tighting properly including replacing burnt out /over heated cable ends if any.

Note - DG Set of cap 500x3 KVA Water cooled spare parts required for repair/replacement will be measured and paid in relevent items Sl No - 2.00

Taking down u/s inbuilt panel of DG Set of cap 500 KVA Model No KTA-19-G9, Sl No-31452 and replacement of the follwing items with new including testing commissioning complete all as specefied and ditected :- Note - Original spare parts supplied by M/S Cummins will only be used.

Taking out carefully copper/aluminium point wiring through existing conduit (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendents, regulators, sockets, light fittings etc removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for point wiring in existing conduit / PVC Cassing capping with FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed, stranded copper conductor single core 1.5 Sqmm cable for one light point controlled by one one way with all accessories, junction box etc incl one FRLSH PVC insulated, un sheathed Single core stranded/solid copper conductor cable of size 1.5 Sqmm for continues earth wire connected to main earth dolly, including matching the disturbed surface with cement work and white washing/colour washing/distembering to match the disturbed surfaces complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

One light/fan point controlled by one switch.

3 pin 5 amps socket outlet on independent board.

All as per item No. 5.00 above but with cables of size 2.5 sqmm for phase, neutral and 2.5 sqmm for earthing for 3 pin 15 amps socket outlet on ind board.

Supply and fixing in repair switch piano flush type single pole one way 5 Amp 230 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing switch socket combination 2 in 1, 3 pin 6 &16A flush type universal.

All as per items No 8.00 but 3 pin 16 Amp.

Taking down unserviceable Flame proof light fitting of any type any size and any capacity from its existing position after disconnecting all electrical connection.

Supply and fixing in replacement LED light fittings 2x16 watt flame proof CMRI, certified recommended for gas/vapour of IIA & IIIB, Zone 1 & 2 and IP 65 protection with die cast aluminium housing with heat resitant toughned glass with LED tube light fixture drivers, holders, connector etc. complete with all accessories prewired and including connecting up with three core flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down surface mounted/flush mounted defective light fitting of any type from wall/ceiling complete all as specified and directed.

S & F LED light fitting with tube 1x18 watt T5 LED tube surface mounting IP65, 4 fit industrial type luminaires complete including LED tubes, single side connection complete all as specified and directed.

S & F LED tube 1x20 watt T8 complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair LED Lamp holder, PVC/Polycarbonate type with cord grip cap suitable for pendant fittings complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair LED Bulb 40/45 Watt with energy efficient and eco friendly complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair LED 40 watt recessed and surface LED 1x 4 ft panel ceilling light with high performance, incluiding all the accessories complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair FLP fixture (Dome light ) as per existing specification for high bay and down lighter are designed to ensure that internal ingnition within a flammable atomosphere will not transmit outside the protective enclosure incluiding all the accessories complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCB, SPN DB, 8 ways double door,Metal door, IP-43 IK 09 in 100A rated bus bars, earth bar, neutral links complete including blanking plates as required & fixed flush to wall and making good the disturbed surfaces including dismentling taking down unsvericeable one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing connection and testing in repair MCB SPN 240 volts C series breaking capacity 10 KA of rating 6-32 Amps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing connection and testing MCB SPN 240 volts C series breaking capacity 10 KA of rating 40-63 Amps including taking down old unsv complete all as specified and directed.

Supply fixing connection and testing MCB SP 6-32 Amps including taking down old unsv one complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repair Sub main wiring with two single core multistranded copper cable of 2 x 4.0 Sqmm & one stranded copper cable of 1 x 4.0 Sqmm for continuous earth wire both PVC insulated & unsheathed drawn through and including stove enamelled steel conduit pipe of dia (20/25mm) complete with all accesories concealed or to be fixed on wall respectively including white washing / colour washing / distembering to match the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair LED street light fitting 35 Watt 230V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum housing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete incluiding taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No - 36.00 here in above but of capacity 60Watt.

Supply and fixing flood light 70 watt 230 V AC outdoor type with thermal management in multiple optics and equipped with IP66 protection, with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamp complete with IP 65/66 protection complete incluiding taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing flood light 120 watt 230 V AC outdoor type with thermal management in multiple optics and equipped with IP66 protection, with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamp complete with IP 65/66 protection complete incluiding taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of old unserviciable UG Cable of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, PVC bedded, Galvanized steel strip or wire armoured underground heavy duty electric power cable with stranded aluminum conductor 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches/ ducts/ on poles including all necessary fixing arrangement such as lugs, glands end termination etc. of cross sectional area 16 Sqmm, 4 core complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.50m wide and not exceeding 1.50m in depth for foundations, trenches of cable or pipe lines etc or and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with coarse sand in trenches for protection of underground electric cable, spread to uniform 23 cm thickness and punned down gently to 18 cm after complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Compacted/ punned thickness of sand layers shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying well burnt sub class 'B' bricks, laid flat dry in trenches with width of the bricks, laid to the axis of cable for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of street light poles 9m long with two coats of aluminium paint including cross arms, clamps and brackets fitted on pole including fixing of retro-reflective adhesive tape of 100mm width with 50mm as blue colour and 50mm as white including painting of pole number complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair/replacement of polycaronate cable junction box of size 300X200X105mm with complete three phase terminal with connecting clamps, nuts, screws etc. complete with fixing arrangement.

S&F in repair/replacement of bracket for street light fittings, 1.2 metre long made to shape as required with 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe, medium grade with and including MS clamp and two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for maintenance free chemical earthing system using single spike 17.2mm dia, 3000mm long high tensile low carbon steel circular rod, molecularly bonded with copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness of 250 microns) meeting the requirements of Under Writers laboratories (UL) 467-2007 or latest with 250mm long copper strips of size 50X3 mm, exothermally welded on top of electrode complete including augering (boring) 100-125mm dia hole as required for electrode in any type of soil and back filling with Earth Enhancing Chemical back filled compound as per IEEE 80 2000 Clause 14.5(c), conforming to IEC 62561-7, min quantity of compound used 80 Kg), i.e. total qty 80 Kg per electrode, conforming to IEEE/BS standrads including pit cover light weight made out of high quality polymer with lid made of HDG steel, including nessary testings and commissioning, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) The work of earthing shall be carried out by authorised trained rep of OEM.

Supply and fixing in repair earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead made of Copper strip of size 20 x 3.15mm as roof conductor/down conductor above ground level/ burried in ground fixed with saddles (made of Porcelain / PVC) and screws at a distance 30 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head brass screws complete all as specified and directed.
