ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR 5 NOS LIFT AT 100 MAP ACCOMMODATION IN DOMLUR UNDER GE CENTRAL BAGALORE

Comprehensive maintenance of passenger lift (carrying capacity 13 passenger), manufactured by ESCON Elevator bearing No 16091290, regularly and systematically including inspection adjustment, repair, renewal or replacement of machine, motor and controller parts including worms, bearing gears, brake magnet coils or brake motors, brake shoes, bushes, lubricating/greasing as necessary, windings, commutators, rotating elements, contactor, coil resistance for operating and motor circuits, magnets, frames and other mechanical parts, safety device governors guide shoes, guide rollers, gibs, wire ropes, ARD, PCB cards of main control panel, existing capacity of batteries etc as per direction of Eng-in-charge and as per the written direction of Govt. lift inspector and including emergency call back services and over time examination etc complete all as specified and direction. Conducting all laid down safety tests at specified periodicity by qualified and skilled personnel. The lift is required to be serviceable 24 hours round the clock. Any defect noticed during comprehensive maintenance period shall be attended to immediately without any inconvenience to occupant of accommodations. Note for item No 1 to 5 : (i) Cost of minor spare parts/ routine materials required for above mentioned maintenance shall deemed to be included in quoted rate. Decision of the Accepting Officer shall be final & binding regarding minor spares parts/ routine materials. (ii) The maintenance of lifts shall be done through OEM or their accredited/ authorized agencies. However the contractor other than OEM has to enter into a MOU with OEM for maintenance of lift after acceptance of the contract. (iii) Monthly schedule for proper maintenance of lift and necessary documentation including spare parts replaced shall be maintained. (iv) The parts shall be genuine and from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and as approved by GE. (v) All minor spare parts and parts recommended by the OEM required for repair/ replacement for maintenence of lift to be replaced during AMC at without extra payment to the Department. (vi) Third party damage due to malfunctioning of lift shall be the responsibility of the contractor and shall be repaired/replaced at his own cost.

Carrying out inspection of lift by Govt. lift inspector for worthiness certificate all as specified and as directed. Note : - (i) If any water accumulated in the lift well the same shall be drain out by using suitable capacity pumpset without any extra cost to the Govt. (ii) The contractor shall be responsible for repair/replacement of flourescent tube/light fitting/fan/exhaust fan/call bell/limit switch without any extra cost to the Govt. (iii) If the contractor not attended/resolved the logged/given complaint within 24 hours penalty @ Rs 10,000.00 will be levyied from contractor's due.
