Soil investigation for Provn of OTM Accn for 111 Rkt Regt at Jalandhar Cantt. (a) Soil investigation through NABL accredited lab as per Indian codes as per details below :- As per 11 (i) Mobilization on mechanical drilling equipment and shifting of entire arragnement as required /directed by GE. Bore Holes (ii) Broing 100mm dia bore holes upto depth 6 m in any type soil/rock. (iii) Collection of in distribute soil sample 1.5m internal or at change of strata in 100 mm bore thin walled tube including waxing sealing , paching and transporting of the job. (iv) Carrying out standrad penetration test (SPT) including collection of disturbed soil smaple in bore holes at varying 1.5 mtr depth or any changes of strata and submit the report with all requisite date. (v) Conducting necessary test as per relevant IS Code/SP 36 on all collected samples with including the determination of following :- (aa) Atterberg limits. (ab) Natural moisture content. (ac) Wet and dry desnsity. (ad) Soil particle size distribution. (ae) Bore log date using sleeve/hydrometer analysis. (af) Tri-axial shear test-c & Phi value determination. (ag) Shrinkage limit. (ah) Consolidation test. (aj) Specific gravity test. (ak) Calculation of SBC. (al) Chemical analysis of soil to determine pH value, sulphate and chlorides content as per relevant IS Code (vi) Evaluation of liquefaction potential as per Annex 'F' of 1893 (Part I) 2016. (vii) Recommendation of type of fdn viz shallow , deep/pile /raft /required and minimum depth of foundation considering soil strata. (viii) Assessment /recommendation of SBC for shallow foundation isolated combined for various size of footing upto 4m size at depth 1.0, 1.5,2.0,2.5m depth.
