B-Signalling Execution Portion
Drilling of holes of different sizes in rails 7.2mm/12mm/16mm/22mm or as per instructions of RailwayEngineer incharge.

Fixing of Electrical point machine on the extendedsleepers at points as per standard 3 practice and asperRDSO Drg. No. S/3454 Alt-A (TWS) per section of railused. All material required for installation such asPointmachine, Ground Connection , nut bolts washer GIpipers, terminals and any other material will be suppliedbyrailway.
Refixing of electrical point machine, ground connection during phase working (Non 4 interlocked working)after removing the existing fitting if any, adjustment if ecessary, cable termination, wiring , testing and commissioningof electrically operated point, fixing and connecting point indicator on derail switch if necessary. The work shall be doneas per extant practice on WR & the instruction of Railway Engineer at site.
Maintenance of Track mounted equipments like S&T fitting on turn outs including different activitiesduring BCM/TTM/TRR works as follows:- Specially opening and refixing of DC-TC jumpers/AFTC jumpers / Axle counter,transducers during different Engg. works Opening of DC-TC /AFTC jumpers /axle counter transducers digging work fromrail to TLJB /TMU /0 bond /location is 5 required to be done as per site requirement also after refixing of DC-TC /AFTCjumpers /Axle counter transducers needs to be buried in proper depth. It includes drilling hole in rail as per siterequirement. The team to be provided for this work should comprise of : Fitter- 1 Nos., Blacksmith 1 Nos.Mason/Carpenter- 1 No. and Helpers-5 Nos. also it include any work of EOLB or sliding boom and earthing arrangementof Signalling gears. Any other work as per instruction of Railway Engineer. All T&P & Jigs required to execute the workwill be supplied by the contractor.
Complete works associated to Track mounted equipment's of S&T department during machine workingon tracks. The activity mainly consists of: 1. Specially opening of point machine ground connections before the arrivalof machine at said location during block working. 2. Securing the Track circuit jumpers/Audio frequency track circuitjumpers / Axle counter/Point machine, 6 transducers cables from rail to TLJB /TMU location during machine working inblock duration. 3. Refixing of point machine with new ground connections on completion of the machine working to re- function the S&T gears in normal condition at the said location during block working. Any adjustment on both sides i.e.Normal and Reverse position in point required to normalise the block should be ensured by the contractor. Note: Thelocation of working will be informed at least a day in advance by site engineer. All T&P & Jigs required to execute thework will be supplied by the contractor. " (Unit may be read as Per day) 7
As and when required by the Engineer in charge arranging /providing of labors for various safety relatedworks such as protection of track etc. with contractor's T&P, equipment,hand signal flags, spanners,hammers, etc. asper specification special conditionsand detailed scope of work as furnished in the tender and directed by the engineerincharge.
Skilled man power to be provided by contractor for Engg. JCBs working to provide marking & supervisorywork for the S&T cables during digging work by JCB's and repairing /restoring/jointing of cables, if damaged Cables &Joints Material will be provided by railway. While 8 Chuna marking will be done by his/her Chuna will provided bycontractor information for deputing skilled man power for above work will be provided by Railway Engineer inchargebefore 24 hours from commencement of digging by JCBs. They will check cables route by Cable route tracer and will dochuna marking and will show the cables (on rough sketch) available in a small length approximate 50-100 meters ofdigging. Note: Minimum two man will be provided at a time including Cable jointer, they will stay whole time during JCBdigging work. (The CV to be got approved by Railway).

Design of Cable Route Plan submission of Three paper copies for approval.
Supply of final Cable Route Plan as per laid cable duly measured at every 30m clearly indicating distanceof laid cable from fixed point of reference & indicating all track crossings and tail cables in original tracing along withAuto CAD in Pen Drive and Six set copies after approval.
Design and supply of cable courage plan, location particulars, Cable termination rack particulars, cablemeggeringreport, earth resistance particulars, Traction bonding diagram, 1/2 wire count sheet and any other drawing inAutoCAD inA3/A4 size. The contractor shall initially supply 3 14 sets of circuits complete for approval of Railways. Railwayswill return one set to the contractor duly approved with alterations/corrections, if any. The contractor shall incorporateRailway's alterations/corrections in the tracings without any deviation and submit all tracings complete in all respects tothe Railways along with PENDRIVE & 4 sets of final approved drawings. This includes designing of cable coreage planbased upon I.P in consultation with engineer-in-charge For small/medium yards.
