Material and labour for Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level , with top edge of the earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected with and incl GI earth wire 4mm dia including alternate 5 layers of charcoal, salt crystal and including 15 mm dia GI pipe light grade by means of nuts, bolts, washers and necessary earth work upto 7.5 mtr and connecting to test point, LT Switchgear etc as per site requirement including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earth chamber, 40 mm thick RCC Cover with 6 mm dia MS bars 10 cm C/C on both ways as reinforcement complete all as shown in elecrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt- I including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- (i)Quoted rate deemed to include necessary earth work, PCC chamber, RCC cover, reinforcement, removal of surplus soil, site clearance,testing on completion etc. (ii) GI earth strip 32 x 6mm, GI tubing light grade 40mm bore upto 7.5 mtr deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Beyond 7.5 M earth strip & GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia shall be measured under the respective item of the schedule (iv) On testing after completion from test point the desired earth resistance shall be not more than 2 ohm .If the desired result is not obtained the earthing will be re done by contractor at no extra cost.
