SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD NEAR FOOTBALL GROUND AND CERTAIN LOCATIONS AT SHILLONG UNDER GE SHILLONG

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in bituminous macadam well rammed (including supply of bituminious carpet, binder and chhipping) and sealed with bitumen 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings, 6.3 mm size depth of pot holes exc 30mm and rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm, depth of pot hole exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm including rolling over the broken surfaces using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined Mix Design procedure and approved by GE. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹67 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side. (ii) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L for bituminous premixed carpet, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 0.54 cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.2 kg of binder (using paving bitumen VG30 grade), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder (using paving bitumen VG30 grade) @ 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm binding with 6.3 mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum per 10 sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines stop line dashe arrow etc and the like not exceeding 10cm wide on road pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint with reflectorizing glass beads on bituminious surface @ 300gms/ sqm area as per IRC: 35- 1997 of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair speed breaker of size 750mm X250 mm X75mm made out of ABS material with two highly reflective reflectors moulded in PMMA materials welded with ABS plate through ultrasonic welding process fixed on to the speed breaker so the dust and water can not touch reflectors inside and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair traffic convex mirror of of 60cm dia having 130 degree viewing angle made of polycarbonate material , brim and back holding plate is made of metal/FRB along with pole mounted brackets and pole 60mm dia made with galvanised steel pipe of suitable length fixed to the ground by means of PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm dia graded stone aggregate) in foundation/filling (size 50cmx50cmx60cm) all as specified and as and as directed.

S&F in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete(unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass concrete in M15(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cement concrete M7.5 (Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate 75 mm thick in sub base for laying tiles, pavings, floorings etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M40 grade conforming to IS 15658-2006 made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape with grey cement and no pigment complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs, slab staging for water tanks, filling of pressed steel door frame, fixing of hold fasts and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formworks complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete in surface channels and drains in M10(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (excluding hard rock) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. or for cable laying or water supply pipes lines etc or not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/ loose/ hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Boulder filling dry, handpacked tightly, as in wire crate apron bunds complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of wire crate

M & L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass concrete in M7.5(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter for fair finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for RCC M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate as in walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips and including welding has to be done with minimum 20 cm over lap for new and old of any height complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F PVC(SWR) pipes 75mm dia single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls/floor complete including clamps for securing pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 5 mm dia and over, upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spaces and binders bent to shape as required including cranking, bending and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia as in reinforcement bar complete all as specified and directed.
