M&L for Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block with approved colour, design & pattern as in roads and pavings parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete.

M&L for rendering on external surfaces in two layers , first layer of 10 mm thick in CM1:6 and second layer on top 5 mm thick in CM 1:4 finished even & fair without using extra cement .

M&L preparation of new plastered surfaces for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces.

Dismantling the existing concertina coil which is fixed in angle iron post, as in fencing to steel post and to another coil/MS ribs including fixing with special galvanised fast rners such as 'J' clips 'C' clips, U clips (Each coil shall be stretched to 6 to 8 mtr approximatly) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F as in repair Mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape requred, including cranking, bending and binding with and including mild steel wire annealed not less than 0.9mm dia.

Restraining, resecuring including tightening and making good staples etc to barbed wire fencing all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M & L for surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep as in soft/loose soil for making the surface of shoulders even/good on either side of runway as earmarked by user/unit complete all as specified as directed.

M & L for Periodic cutting of Grass with the help of Hand held Grass cutting Machine of reputed Make per day for Cutting and Sweeping Grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area, Taxi Track, Runway, Shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the contract period, including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades as required including maintenance and repairs to Machine and trade insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note for Serial Item No. 23: The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering following provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. [a] Area of Grass cutting shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users as and when required basis. [b] Periodicity of grass cutting, will be as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in consultation with users. For this purpose, the tenderer shall maintain a register indicating the details of location, date, area, signature of Engineer-in-Charge, user's representative and Contractor. The log sheet cum -register will be maintained by the contractor for record of work done and running of the tractors ,This register will be signed by contractor ,JE(civil), Engineer-in- charge and User's of ATC. [c] The grass shall be cut so that the protruding grass shall not be more than 15mm above ground level and disposal as directed. [d] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area along Main Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [e] On any of the days if the grass cutting team of labours does not attend the site. Failing which a penalty of Rs. 2000 per 08 hours shall be levied and the decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding. (f) In case of any accident / mis-happening the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation if any to the work man, the Govt will not have any liability on these matters and contractor is advised to quote the tender accordinly cosidering all the aspects.

Material and labour for cutting of grass,shrubs,vegitation,bush,weed by mechanically operated slasher Jungle jim with tractor where ever required including removing of waste material obtained by cutting & cleaning (both sides) of runway and Parallel taxi track (PTT) both side edges and removal of the spoil exc 250m but not 500 m and depositing where as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The under mentioned are included of the quoted rates : - Note 1:- Contractor will arrange minimum all the time during the execution of the work: mechanical slasher( tractor with Jungle Jim) & one tipping trolley of appropriate capacity along with petrolium oil lubricants (POL) & MT driver and one helper. Note 2:-The minimum out put of each mechanical tractor with jungle jim for a day is 5000.00 sqm. NOTE for Item no 24 : (a) All works to be executed inside technical area .The site for the work will be available in piece meal and also may be in non flying days. No claim for nonavailability of site in every working days will be entertained. Contractor shall quote his rates considering the above bottlenecks. (b) The log sheet cum -register will be maintained by the contractor for record of work done and running of the tractors ,This register will be signed by contractor ,JE(civil), Engineer-in- charge and User's of ATC. (c) The quoted rate by contractor is including of all T&P ,POL,Operators ,helpers as mentioned above. (d) Rates for idle charges for machinery and operators will be considered to be inclusive by the contractor while quoting the rates. (e) The contractor shall take all possible safety measures to safe guard his work man and their employees are wearing all necessary personal protective equipments (PPE)such as safety helmets,protective footwear,googles and safety spectacles,gloves,reflective clothes, etc. (f) In case of any accident / mis-happening the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation if any to the work man, the Govt will not have any liability on these matters and contractor is advised to quote the tender accordinly cosidering all the aspects. (g) Breakdown of vehicles at airfield shall be avoided. For that the vehicles used shall be in good running condition and not be older than 03 years

Surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep in soft/ loose soil including clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance.

Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft loose soil incl site clearance and trimming of Natural ground, to remove small vegetation ( grass and shrubs etc) with roots and/or small in equalities on the surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note (a) : The rubbish should be removed outside the periphery of area under clearance and placed in low lying area up to a distance 100m wherever directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rolling of formation surfaces and consolidating surfaces in cutting with mechanical roller 8 to 12 Ton Cap complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material exc. 1.50 km but n exc. 5 km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces, over 10cm girth, applying one coats of 100% acrylic, weather resistant emlusion complete all as specified and as per manufacturer's instruction.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons,dados etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar and removal of rubbish off the site complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L for Stone kerb of roughly squared stones of min thickness15cm and depth 30cm or similar, dressed so that the maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 6mm for top and exposed surfaces of sides and 20mm for the rest of surfaces jointed in cement mortar 1:4 and struck flush complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old steel and iron surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamal paint all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of existing bituminous / concrete surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign material etc. and painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc. on Road, Pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm width or girth with one coat of water based Acrylic Runway marking paint of color white or Golden yellow yellow or black or red color over existing paint in straight lines at runway surface / dispersal /taxi tracks complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of runway cross drains or drains adjacent to runway & dispersal (closed/open) of any cross section of width n exc 4m at top by removing vegetation, debris, waste materials and mud deposits etc. manually or mechanically with JCB / Hitachi and removal of sludge/debris/ waste matarials manually as required all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Rates are deemed to include for the followings. (a) Cleaning of drains as and when called for including during rain / night time as per site requirement. (b) Removal of drain cover for cleaning purpose and placing back after cleaning of drain (c) Removing the waste materila/debries to distance exceeding 50m and not exceeding 100m and deposting inside MoD all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (d) All T&P required shall be arranged by the contractor as required at site/directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (e) Contractor shall make cleaning such as to confirm the free flow of rain water etc. (f) The frequecny of cleaing of drain will be decided by the user in consultation with Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Racking out existing Sealant from Expansion Joints to a depth of at least 30mm, cleaning edges up to a depth of at least 15 mm by scrapping / grinding by mechanical means to expose the concrete surfaces, cleaning the joint, removing the sticky, foreign and loose particles, Placing PVC Foam Baker Bar of 25 mm dia, inserting the same to keep a clear depth of 10 mm from top of pavement, applying epoxy based primer compound to the sides of joint from Baker Bar to the top of pavement, applying polyurethane sealant mixed thoroughly by stirring with Palette Knife and applying the same to the joint to a depth of 10 mm up to the top of pavement in Expansion Joints of 20 mm width complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

M & L for Racking out existing Sealant from Construction / Dummy Joints to a depth of at least 20mm, cleaning edges up to a depth of at least 15 mm by scrapping / grinding by mechanical means to expose the concrete surfaces, cleaning the joint, removing the sticky, foreign and loose particles, Placing PVC Foam Baker Bar of 10-15 mm dia, inserting the same to keep a clear depth of 10 mm from top of pavement, applying epoxy based primer compound to the sides of joint from Baker Bar to the top of pavement, applying polyurethane sealant mixed thoroughly by stirring with Palette Knife and applying the same to the joint to a depth of 10 mm up to the top of pavement in Construction / Dummy Joints of 10-12 mm width complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

M & L for Chipping removing carefully concrete work by low impact hammer, breaker without damaging the structure width not more than 15 cm and depth not more than 10 cm & Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing pavement, cleaning out, and disposal of debris out side the premises etc. complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cleaning the Runway Cracks / potholes by using Compressed Air and brush, making the cracks free from dust, grease, all foreign and loose particles etc. applying Geocrete concrete resurfacing mortar on cracked / broken potholes, edges, or at any runway suface and dispersal area with width not more 15 cm and depth not more than 10 cm and applying all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc and applying Cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) at the rate 0.75 Kg per Sqm (undiluted) and ensure proper finishing of runway, PTT, Links etc complete all as per manufacturers' instructions and as specified and directed at site.

Repair of pot holes / pin holes area with size from 491 Sq mm to 1963 Sq mm in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) using Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB - 70) as per Design Mix including applying tack coat (PMB - 70), including cutting as required shape, cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair of pot holes / pin holes area exceeding 1963 Sq mm but not exceeding 7850 Sq mm in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) using Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB - 70) as per Design Mix including applying tack coat (PMB - 70), including cutting as required shape, cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair of pot holes on area exceeding 0.1 Sq m but not exceeding 0.3 Sq m in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) using Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB - 70) as per Design Mix including applying tack coat (PMB - 70), including cutting as required shape, cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for washing, rubbing down and stopping of old painted surfaces up to 15.00 metres height and applying two coat of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] on Walls in Chequered Pattern with approved shade and size of Chequers including providing double scaffolding and safety measures as required and removal of the same on completion complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing old surfaces plastered or unplastered on wall surfaces and applying two coats of oil bound distemper complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Writing letters or figures (Block. Roman, Italic or Indian) n exc. 30 cm high complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Writing letters, digits or figures (Block. Roman, Italic or Indian) exc. 30 cm and not exceeding 1.5 m height having minimum thickness of 10 cm in black or yellow or white with two coats of water based acrylic road marking paint on dispersal and runway complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Writing work should be carried out by painter with edge proper marking. Digits and alphabets will be counted and measured accrodingly.

M & L preparation of existing surfaces of Taxiway Marking and Turning Pads of Runway surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. and Painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc. and the like exceeding 10 cm width or girth (Retro Reflective Type) of color yellow with white and black borders, cold applied type, applied by skilled painter manually or with mechnical applicator of wet film thickness of 400 microns in single coat and dry film thickness of 200 microns and coverage @ the rate of 0.4 to 0.5 litres per square meter and application of drop on Glass beads Type IV (Reflective Index 1.5) @ 50 Grams per square meter complete all as specified and directed.
