Construction of R.C.C. Vaults at NSDF for storage of End Fittings, Garter Springs and pressure tubes (Unit#4) and associated works at RAPS plant site

Filling in foundations and plinth with sand with all cost of leads in layers of not more than 150mm thick each layer well rammed and consolidated including watering etc. complete.

Providing and laying 230 mm thick stone soling properly hand packed, filling interstices with spells and consolidating to required gradient and camber including spreading, watering and rolling binding materials earth etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer (using quarry stone).

Providing and laying 150 mm thick stone soling under floors properly hand packed, filling interstices with spalls and binding material consolidating to required gradient and camber, spreading, watering etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer.

Providing and laying cement concrete of 1:2:4 ( 1 Cement : 2 Coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in retaining walls, return walls, walls(any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed block, anchor block, window sills, fillets etc. at all level including transporting of concrete to site, laying including cost of finishing, curing etc. all complete excluding the cost of centering and shuttering as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position machine batched, machine mixed and machine vibrated design mix cement concrete of all grades for Reinforced cement concrete work using 20mm size graded stone aggregates including transporting of concrete to site for laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, reinforcement and EPs but including cost of finishing, compaction, curing, approved chemical admixtures conforming to IS 9103 in recommended proportions for achieving slump not more than 120mm and water/cement ratio not more than 0.45 at all level as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Use of concrete retarding agent / accelerator conforming to IS 9103 shall be done as per requirement based on mix design. Rates should be based on using 350 kg of cement per cum of concrete.

Supplying and casting RCC of Grade H-30/20 of minimum density 3.75 Gm per Cu Cm. using graded heavy aggregate of size 20 mm hematite from approved source including form work, scaffolding, mixing, adding admixure as per design mix, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth all exposed faces for all in situ itmes as per drawings and specifications. (The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and inclusive of formwork) NOTE : (i) Consumption of cement considered as 340 kgs / cum minimum. (ii) Any upward variation in cement consumption to achive H - 30 Grade shall be measured and paid under item no:8 below.. (iii) Design mix preparation shall be obtained from reputed approved concrete testing laboratory. (iv) Addition of admixture to accelerate, retard setting of concrete / to improve workability without impairing strength and durability of concrete as per direction of Engineer in charge and as per IS : 9103. (v) Fly Ash shall be used for additional leak tightness as per design mix. (vi) Bidder shall consider cost of preparing and dismantaling casting plateform for Heavy concrete Pre-cast hatch covers while calculating the rate.

Add extra for using more cement than specified in item of PCC or RCC

Providing form work of battened frame with sheathing having plywood lining / MS angle frame with sheathing of MS plate lining so as to give fair finish including centering shuttering strutting and propping etc. height of propping and centering below supporting floor not exceeding 3.5 meters to ceilings and removal of same for foundation, footings, columns, wall, Suspended floors, stairs, landings, balconies, lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, cantilevers and access platform etc. complete at all level of floors / roof as per specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying Thermo-Mechanically Treated reinforcement bars of grade as specified in drawings/specifications and as directed by engineer conforming to IS : 1786 latest revision or the latest relevant code for RCC work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding with 20 gauge annealed binding wire and cement mortar cover block of all size in C.M. 1:2 MIX etc. all complete- as per drawings , specifications & direction of engineer in charge.

Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing on horizontal and vertical surfaces at all levels as directed by Engineer. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all materials, laboures and gurantee bond as per specifications and as directed by Engineer. Water proofing agent shall be of approved brand confirmaing to IS : 2645. Entire vault except from top will be encapsulated with EPDM membrane which will be paid in relevant item. NOTE: The Contractor shall submit a bank guarantee form a scheduled commercial bank (other than co-operative bank) for 10% of the cost of water proofing works carreid out. The bank Guarantee shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of acceptance of the water proofing work by NPCIL.

Treatment for BASE: 1. Clean mud mat surface & rough it. 2. Spread cement slurry (one kg. cement, Ten lit. water & water proofing agent 2% of weight of cement of approved brand). 3. Applying two coats of single component Acrilic Polymer cement base compostie membrane "HYDRO PROOF" over a coat of primer of same material as per manufacture’s specifications. 4. Lay 25 mm thick mortar (1:3) mixed with water proofing compound at 2% of weight of cement. Spread 20 mm thickness aggregate & press in mortat with wooden mattet. 5. Spread cement slurry (one kg. cement, Ten lit. water & water pfoofing agent 2% of weight of cement of approved brand). 6. Lay 25 mm thick mortar (1:3) mixed with water proffing compound at 2% of cement for fixing approved 18 to 20mm thick Rough Kota stone over the mortar. 7. Fill joints of tiles with cement slurry of 8 liters water / kg of cement and water proofing compound. 8. Spread final topping with 12 to 15 mm thick cement mortar (1:4) over Kota stone.

VERTICLE SIDES : 1. Rough the external surface of wall by hacking. 2. Apply two coats of single component Acrylic Polymer cement base composite membrane "HYDRO PROOF" over a coat of primer of same material as per manufacturer’s specifications. 3. Fix Kota stone tiles on external faces of vault up to appximately 1.0 m height and 20 mm gap between tiles receiving surface. Fill gap completely with neat cement and water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement up to 600mm height. 6. Next day fix further 600mm height tiles as above & fil the gap wirh cement slurry up to height of 300mm only. 7. Continue the process up to top of the vault. 8. Scarp 35 to 40 mm width of final topping of water proofing to the wall of the vault. 9. Procvide finishing layer of cement mortar (1:4), 20 mm thickness with neat cement punnning with water proofing compound at 2% weight of cement.

Providing and placing in position 180 mm wide, 8 mm thick dumb bells with central bulb type PVC water stop conforming to IS : 12200 for construction / expansion joints between two cosecutive RCC members and flashing end joints as per manufacturer's specifications, fixied to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc. complete as per drawing and direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and constucting brick masonary using fly ash bricks of class designation-75 (IS-12894 -2002) in cement mortar 1:6 in foundation below plinth including scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings. (Eco friendly bricks shall be prefereed).

Providing and laying brick masonry using Clay building bricks of class designation- 75 in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 coarse sand) in superstructure above plinth level as per specifications and direction of Engineer including cost of labour, materials, curing, finishing, scaffoldings etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing at all elevation cement plaster 20 mm thick in two coats over brick wall / concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:5 and water proofing compound of Pidilite / Sika / Choksey / Fosroc with a floating coat of neat cement finish, rubbed to perfectly smooth and even surfaces, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed up to ground lebvel. Note : Water tightness of this plaster shall be ensured properly as water will be stored in this enclosure during water leak test of vault from out side.

Supplying, fabricating and embedding MS/carbon steel sections such as R S Joists, tees, angles, flats, channels, I sections etc and welded carbon steel work (Material confirming to IS: 2062 Grade - E250BR:2011 and fabrications per IS: 800) in built up sections, framed work and embedded parts including cutting, welding, hoisting and fixing in position, applying two coats of zinc rich primer of approved brand to exposed surface only. Note: All surfaces of embedded parts in contract with concrete shall be left unpainted and all exposed surfaces shall be cleaned by suitable mechanical means to commercial finish and shall be painted with two coats of zinc rich primer of total film thickness of not less than 40 micron.

Supplying, fabricating, handling, transporting, erection of Vault SS Pipe / SS liner panels (Made from 3mm to 6mm thick plates) including all materials, labour, tools, plants, welding, testing, scafolding, providing & removal of required support during concerting etc. complete as per NPCIL specification PC - E - 341, drawings and direction of engineer. NOTE:- 1. Procedure for fabrication & erection shall be submitted for prior approval. NOTE:- 2 Lifting arrangment and supporting structure not buried in concret shall not be measured and paid. NOTE: -3. Welding joint shall be inpected by QA Section as per procedure.

Providing and laying Atactic Polypropylene Polymer modified prefabricated 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt manufactured by Bitumat Co. Ltd., Soprema / Chemistic /General/Membrane/ Tamka/Pidilite consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.250 liter / M2, by the same membrane manufacturer of density at 25 0 C is 0.89 Kg/liter and viscosity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butance Torch and sealing all joints etc. and complete preparation the surface. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under: Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23 degree C as 650/450 or 550N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150 degree C. Cold flexibility shall be - 2 degree C to -5 degree C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D-5147. The laying of membrane shall be carried out by the authorized applicator of the manufacturer of membrane.

Providing, prior mixing and injecting two components low viscous Polyurethane MC-Inkjet 2700 L / 2300 Plus series resin (polyurethane treatment) to leaking / seeping areas of raft & walls etc. including drilling holes, fixing of packers, injecting two component grouting material using pneumatic / electric injection pump in gradually increasing pressure etc. complete as per manufacturer's specifications and as directed by Engineer. Item includes cost of all materials, consumable, labours etc. complete with all lead & lift etc. Note: 1) Two Component mixed material shall be injected as per manufacturer's specification. 2) Injection shall be carried out until material rejection or packer to packer contact is observed.

Drilling of 14mm holes & fixing of 13/100mm packers.

Supplying and injection MC Polyurethane Inkjet 2700 L / 2300 Plus series resin including cost of materials and thinner. Note: Resin material consumed only will be paid. No payment for thineer etc. will be done.

Testing of RCC trench battery for water tightness of external walls by filling water up to the required level in all compartments including cost of dewatering after successful completion of water tightness test etc. all complete as per specifications and direction of the Engineer in charge. Contractor has to make all necessary arrangements required for water filling and dewatering. Note:
