REPAIR/MAINT/IMPROVEMENT OF OVERHEAD CONDUCTOR AND ALLIED EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS AT LEBONG UNDER AGE (I) DARJEELING

Dismantiling existing ACSR (of any size or type) from over head electric line carefully without making any damage to the other existing lines and removing unserviceable conductor from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of GI earth wire and guard wire from existing OH lines complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantiling of cross arms, bracings, supports etc. of MS channel or any other section complete and removing unserviceable portion from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantiling of insulator of any type / size / grade from over head electric line and removing unserviceable insulator from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc. or for laying UG cable etc not exc. 10 sqm on plan and not exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m & depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above starting point complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG cables (below, above and around the cable laid in trenches) of 230mm spreding thickness and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Laying of old size sub-class 'B' bricks, laid breadth wise along the length of cable laid in trenches over sand cushion laid for UG cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling / Taking out old unserviceable service connection /underground cable, of any grade/type of size as below from pole / wall / cable duct / underground trench etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of LT UG cable of size 240 Sqmm 3.5 Core, heavy duty, 1100 Volts, XLPE insulated and sheathed, armoured, multi-stranded aluminium conductor cable, laid in trenches / ducts or fixed to poles / walls or laid under roads / paths / drains / culverts duly encased in galvanised steel pipe of suitable sizes including cable gland of suitable sizes and aluminium lugs for connection incl cable route indicator, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Excavation & earth work and pipe / sand / bricks shall be measured and paid for separately.

All as per serial item No. 11 above but cable of size 25 Sqmm 4 core.

All as per serial item No. 11 above but cable of size 16 Sqmm 4 Core.

All as per serial item No. 11 above but cable of size 10 Sqmm 2 Core.

Supply & fixing or laying galvanised steel tubing light grade (ISI marked) for protection of under-ground cable on poles/ walls alongwith fixing clamp, nuts, bolts & washers or under road crossing etc. of size 50 mm bore, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No.15 above but pipe of size 40 mm bore.

M&L for cutting existing road / hard standing not exc 20 x 45 cm in width & depth getting out excavated material for laying cable / GI tube, returning filling & well ramming watering and finish surface 10 cm from top using PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (20mm graded stone aggregate); including removal of surplus soil, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting defective parts of battery charger panel of rating 110VDC/25A, AC in put Voltage & Frequency :415 VAC +10%, 50Hz +5%, AC Input current:6.5 AAC, DC Out Put:126.5VDC/25A and software version isf:SW12003090-00 and removing unserviceable / repairable parts from panel and transporting of unserviceable / repairable parts from MES sub station to contractors/civil workshop and after repair transporting to workshop to MES sub Station and installed at appropriate location including replace of other applicable worn out parts and make the panel fully functional, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for fixing in repair 2 Volt-100 AH (55 Batteries) including rack and connectors to protect the VCB protection device i.e. fuses, circuit breackers, connectors for overcurrent conditions or overcurrent flow due to short circuit, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, lay, commissioning and testing of cable jointing Kit for 1100 V grade cable for outdoor End termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 4 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 10 to 16 Sqmm, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 20 above but suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size from 25 sqmm, 4 Core.

All as per serial item No. 20 above but suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size from 240 sqmm, 3.5 Core.

M&L preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparing old plastered surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint on walls including complete removal of existing treatment complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting from OH conductor/ conductor on panel/ FPB, cutting worn out portion of LT cables of any type and size, carry out repairs including taking out cables from under ground loop line and rejoining after dressing and re-alignment incl saddles etc to restore electric supply, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) LT Jointing Kits, Cable protection Pipe if required at site will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of lugs/ sockets and cutting and removing the pole coping and inserting the cable alongwith protection pipes.

Taking down old U/S broken/cracked RCC slab and S&F new MS chequerd plate 5mm thick duly painted with one coat of synthetic enamel paint over red oxide zinc chromate primer complete as in cable duct cover duly cut to shape and making hole for fixing lifting handle flush type after use, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
