Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth and getting in any type of soil for laying of cables, pole foundation, laying of pipe line, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m and getting in any type of soil for laying of cables, pole foundation, laying of pipe line, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand filling with clean dry fine sand including gently punning around cables in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Compacted/punned thickness shall be measured & paid.

Supply and laying in trenches, un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class HV, Type- I, flat, size 300 mm x 180mm x 40mm, factory made for cable protection in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of existing heavy duty road, width not exceeding 45cm and not exceeding 90cm depth by mechanical means for laying of HT cables with and including making good the disturbed surfaces by matching with the existing concrete & stone blocks as per directions of GE complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road cutting including excavation in trenches for laying HT UG cable in pipe, width not exceeding 45cm and not exceeding 90cm depth by mechanical means for laying of HT cables with and including making good the disturbed surfaces with cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and top surface neatly finished as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling, after disconnecting electric supply, overhead electric conductor of ACSR of any size after opening from insulators from existing HT poles complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling insulators from HT OH line of any description, size and voltage grade, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing unserviceable/serviceable/deshaped HT PCC pole including demolition of existing PCC foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing unserviceable/serviceable/deshaped HT steel pole including demolition of existing PCC foundation complete all as specified and directed. NOTE (for BOQ Serial item Nos.12.00 & 13.00):- Old unserviceable poles obtained from taking down shall be removed by the contractor from cantt area/MoD within 3 days of taking down otherwise a penalty of Rs.500/- per Pole per Day will be deducted from the contractors dues. Decision of the GE in this regard shall be final & binding.

Dismantling cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates from existing poles (other than dismantled poles) and pole structures complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling stay assembly complete including demolition of cement concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 100mm bore GI tubing light grade with all fittings as required for passing through cables under floors, along the wall or along the pole, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing & commissioning of power cables (heavy duty), Aluminum Stranded Conductor 120 sqmm, 3 core, XLPE Insulated screened, Cores laid up, PVC Inner sheathed, Armoured with galvanized wire or galvanized steel strip, overall PVC Sheathed, 11000 volts grade (Earthed) as per IS 7098(Part-II) laid in trenches / fixed to poles / walls / drawn through pipes, etc and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earth work and provn of cable covers / protection pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

All as per BOQ Serial item No.17.00 here-in-before but of size 95 sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cable path indicator made of precast RCC (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate of size 650mm x 400mm x 25mm duly enamel painted red/brown colour and marked as HT cable and installed at 400mm above and 250mm below ground level complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of excavation, earth work, etc is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.

S&F Air break switch, gang operated, triple pole mechanically operated, mounted on HT insulators (12 insulator type) and MS galvanised steel frame with opearting mechanism worked from ground level with and in cluding GI medium grade 32mm bore pipe for operating handle with 11 KV insulation for current rating upto 200 Amp, 11000 volts with locking arrangement including MS clamps, nuts, bolts,, washers, etc with drop out expulsion type fuse, single pole upto to 25 Amp 11000 volts with fus barrels including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on MS work complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacemnt metal oxide type surge arrester (MOSA) (lightening arrestors) conforming to IS-3070 (Part-1) having voltage rating 12 KV, rated frequency 50 Hz, nominal discharge current 65 KA (heavy duty), expulsion type transmission class with all fittings suitable for 11 KV, 3 phaseearthed distribution system complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, erecting and fixing in true vertical position, Steel tubular pole (410 SP-55), 11 mtr long, swaged, complete with cast iron base plate, pole cap/finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washer, welded reduced section and longitudinal weld throughoutentire length of pole with & including painting two coats of black bitumnious paint externally upto planting depth and remaining exterior portion of pole to be provided with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to portion embedded in PCC, numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint (letter, shape & size as directed by Engineer-in-charge) complete all as specified and directed. Note - Excavation, earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F Mild steel Cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate, fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed with & including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrink type joint, complete with jointing materialand accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium onductor of size 120 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil each not exceeding 0.5cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing new or previously untreated steel & iron surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over & including a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm to 80mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying 100mm thick loose filling of 25mm graded stone aggregates over and including 50 mm thick stone dust layer in substation after cleaning & removal of unwanted grass and levelling at zero level the surface complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR-2009 Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by 15mm dia medium grade GI pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore light grade with & including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil/hard rock, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel, etc and making test point for testing of earthing; made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75 x 75 x 25mm complete all as directed. NOTE :- (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate includes the cost of 15mm bore GI pipe medium grade for protection of earth wire & 4mm dia earh lead wire upto 7.5 M and test point made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75 x 75 x 25mm. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself.

Supply and fixing GI Strip 32 x 6 mm fixed in ducts/ walls /trenches /floors, etc for earthing complete fixed to equipment/ test point /earth electrode complete all as specified and directed.

Deduct schedule of credit (calculation will be done off line) Rs.4,93,684.00
