SPECIAL REPAIR TO UNSERVICEABLE/ BROKEN ROAD, ROAD FURNITURE, ROAD BREAKER, ROAD SIGN BOARD FOR MAINT ROAD AT AYODHYA CANTT UNDER AGE (I) AYODHYA.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade and putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Sqm on black top road surface and applying 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% paving bitumen binder content VG-30 Grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by AGE (I). (ii) The binder content specified is minimum. Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Government. (iii) Premixing shall be done by using Hot Mix plant and laying shall be done by using mechanical paver. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm but n. exc. 100mm including stacking usable materials for reuse and removing rubbish to a distance n.exc 50mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient ,camber and super elevation required complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 4 above except materials (coarse aggregate).

Note:- (i) Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by AGE (I). (ii) The binder content specified is minimum. Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Government. (iii) Premixing shall be done by using Hot Mix plant and laying shall be done by using mechanical paver. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using binder (paving bitumen VG-30) grade with 4% by weight of total mix (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) all as specified in particular specifications. Note:- (i) Bituminous Macadam work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE. (ii) The binder content specified is minimum. Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Government. If it is less than 4% by weight of total mix, the amount shall be recovered for the less weight of binder only at the rate of Rs 42/- per Kg if technically acceptable. No other claim whatsoever on account of this will be allowe (iii) Bituminous Macadam shall be done by using Hot Mix plant and laying shall be done by using mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry laid dry, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class B straight or curve on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep in soft/ loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
