1 The Price Bid shall be read in conjunction with bid documents.

2 The Price Bid shall be uploaded online on the e-bidding portal as mentioned in clause 1.2 (l) of IFB (Bid Schedule). Bidder shall quote the percentage below/at par on the total cost of the work mentioned in the BoQ1 sheet. The bidder shall download the excel file and quote the percentage below/at par on the total cost of the work as per instructions given. After quoting percentage below/at par on the total cost of the work, the excel file shall be uploaded accordingly. The amount shall not be offered/quoted elsewhere in the technical submission/ tender submission.

3 If the bidder fails to quote the % in case of below for the "Total amount mentioned in BoQ1 sheet shall be treated as "At Par" and shall be evaluated accordingly.

4 Bidder shall quote their offer in Indian Rupees (INR) only. The Price bid evaluation shall be done on the total amount quoted in the BoQ1 sheet only.

5 The total amount includes duties, taxes (excluding GST and Custom Duties), and other levies etc. payable by the Contractor under the Contract, or for any other cause. GST shall be paid to the contractor upon submission of GST invoices.

6 The quoted amount for the completed and finished items of work complete in all respects. It will be deemed to include all the cost involved in the execution of the items and shall include all duties, taxes [except Goods and Service Tax (GST) and Custom Duty] royalties, cess, overheads, profit and other levies payable by the Bidder under the Contract, or for any other cause etc. The Bidder shall be required to consider this aspect while quoting rates. It shall include all general risks, liabilities and obligations set out or implied in the Contract shall and including remedy of any defects during the Defect Liability Period, unless otherwise provided in the Contract. The whole cost of complying with the provisions of the Contract shall be deemed to have been included in the quoted rates. GST as prevalent will be paid extra. The payment shall be made as per Appendix I to Section-8 Part-A: Appendix to Bid.

7 Bidder is required to quote the station wise breakup cost in the "Breakup Cost Sheet". The "Breakup Cost Sheet" is not locked and bidder may insert the lines as per their requirement if any. The Price Bid evaluation shall be done on the basis of the total amount quoted in "BoQ1" sheet. The bidder is required to submit the break up of the quoted amount in "Breakup Cost Sheet". In no case there should not be any difference between the amount mentioned in BOQ1 and "Breakup Cost Sheet". In case of difference in total amount mentioned in "BoQ1" and amount quoted in "Breakup Cost Sheet", the amount mentioned in the BoQ1 shall prevail and the station wise amount quoted in the Breakup cost sheet shall be adjusted accordingly.

8 Bidder may please note that to perform this contract. nothing extra shall be payable on account of field constraints, non-availability of uninterrupted front, cost of project management, monitoring, coordination and supervision, cost of adhering to quality requirements (QA/QC), cost of adhering to SHE requirements, cost of preparing drawings and documents, as-built records and documentation, preparation of detailed scheme for taking necessary clearance and approval from the concerned authority and other local bodies etc.

9 Income Tax and any other statutory taxes to be deducted at source will be deducted by the Employer from the due payments of the contractor in accordance with the prevailing rules in force.

10 Bidder should not tamper the Price Bid. If the Price Bid is found to be modified by the bidder, then the same will be treated as incomplete and non-responsive and may result in the rejection of the Bid.

11 Errors will be corrected by the Employer for any arithmetic errors in computation or summation as per contract conditions.

12 Method of Quoting the Price in the Price Bid The Price Bid is in Excel Format and the Quoting the Price in the Price Bid should be as Follows: (i) Whole Excel Worksheet is Locked except the Cells which are highlighted in Blue and "Breakup cost Sheet". (ii) Bidders are required to fill these cells which are highlighted in Blue only. (iii) Bidder is required to quote a flat percentage below/At par on 'Total Amount' in "BOQ1'' Sheet of Price Bid. (iv) All 'blanks' in the Pricing Document, where the Bidder is permitted to quote shall be filled in. (v) If some % is quoted inspite of marking 'At par' that % will not be considered and it will be taken as "At par" on basic amount. Failure to quote the % in case of below for the "Total amount shall be treated as "At Par" and shall be evaluated accordingly. (vi) Bidder is required to quote the station wise breakup cost in the "Breakup Cost Sheet". The "Breakup Cost Sheet" is not locked and bidder may insert the lines as per their requirement if any. (vii) Bidder is required to quote Rates in INR only.
