SCHEDULE 'A' BOQ

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated material to a distance exceeding 1.50 Km and not exceeding 5.00 Km and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Serviceable bricks obtained from demolition shall be stacked separately for reuse.

M&L Brickwork with fly ash bricks using modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed

Description all as per Sl.Item No 6 here in above but except bricks. Note: Bricks obtained from sl Item No 5 above to be used.

M&L Reinforced Cement Concrete Type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) cast in situ in lintels up to 1.5 M span, cills and other similar bands, plinth courses, parapets, copings, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including use and waste of form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L High strength corrosion resistant TMT steel bar of grade Fe-500, 6 mm dia to 8 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Reinforced Cement Concrete pipes, class NP2, 200mm bore laid and jointed complete with collars in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L Reinforced precast cement concrete in 1:2:4 type B0 (using12.5mm graded stone aggregate) in Jallies, 45mm thick (measured solid) including all moulding but excluding frame set in CM 1:6 including taking down existing damaged one complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Reinforcement will be measured separately under Sl Item No 14 below.

M&L high strength corrosion resistant TMT steel bar of grade Fe-500/500D , 5 mm dia to 10 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips in stirrups , spacers and binders etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L machine cut kota stone slab of thickness 20-25mm thick laid over backing coat/cement screed base in CM 1:3 in vertical surfaces/ dado and laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L applying two coats of cement based paint on newly plastered surfaces of walls including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed

M&L taking down and refixing the steel gate not exc 3.00 sqm in each pane after repair of rusted or damaged portion of the gate including pivot, holdfast, stopper, locking arrangement, pintel etc., and including necessary greasing to shutter, spot/running welding if required all as specified as directed. Note: New mild steel required for replacing, rusted or damaged portion will be measured separately.

M&L taking down rolling shutter of size not exceeeding 6 sqm area, straightening of curtains, making good of edges, guide channels, necessary riveting/welding, repairing to hood cover, rotating shaft and refixing the same after repair, greasing the guide channel to make smooth functioning, replacement of steel spring, ball bearing etc if required complete all as specified and as directed. (Replacement of parts shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective items).

M&L taking down rolling shutter of size exceeding 6 sqm area, straightening of curtains, making good of edges, guide channels, necessary riveting/welding, repairing to hood cover, rotating shaft and refixing the same after repair, greasing the guide channel to make smooth functioning, replacement of steel spring, ball bearing etc if required complete all as specified and as directed. (Replacement of parts shall be measured and paid seperatly as supply only under respective items).

Supply only Rolling shaft of rolling shutter of 40mm dia medium grade mild steel pipe made to shape & size complete all as specified.

Supply only ball bearing of suitable size for rolling shutter of make SKF/NBC complete all as specified.

Supply only bevel gear box and crank handle for rolling shutters complete all as directed and specified.

Supply only 1mm thick mild steel sheet made to shape as directed for curtain inter locking curls 75-85mm width of each strip complete all as specified.

Supply only mild steel pipe 25mm dia , medium grade, suitable to operate the gear box system by crank handle complete all as specified.

S&F Rolling shutters with mild steel1.00mm thick laths, gear operated type with bevel gear box and crank handle as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple and one shop coat of primer; erected in position as indicated, fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, dark shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc.,set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over screed bed or bedding layer, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 including taking down existing tile and removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, dark shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, as in skirting/dado. etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over screed bed or bedding layer,10 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 including taking down existing tile and removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 26 & 27 : (a) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation/fixing

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, barbed wire any type and any size complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass/ trimming down shurbs/ branches/ small trees with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from fencing post to outside MD land.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in any type of soil, each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including dismantling existing damaged posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC in foundation filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8, using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Straining and fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provision of 10mm dia MS bars as line wire welded to fencing posts and MS flat iron for fixing fencing wire mesh complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Supply only 10mm dia round bars measured and paid vide item No 36. However, provision binding wire and labour element is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted against this item.

Supply only Chain link mesh made of 3mm dia galvanised wire and shall confirm to IS 2712.2003 and having zinc coating type heavy as laid down in IS 4826 including line wires/ binding wire etc fixed to any type of standards posts complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only 10mm dia round bars, cut to length ,hooking ends as in wooven/ straining bar (stiches through chain link fencing between post) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC type C-1,1:3:6 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate)as in precast cement concrete solid building blocks or slabs 10cm thick (with plain or interlocking joint as directed) setting in cement mortar, in walls including demolition of existing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc complete all as specified and as directed (each line of wire to be measured).

M&L Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nuts, n exc 5cm long diameter of neck 5 to 10mm including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces under 10 cm girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 40 & 41 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards.

(d) Paints shall be obtained directly from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers:- i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

M&L granite work (of any type) 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished including round edge) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms, wash basin platform and like,machine cut,jointed with cement mortar (1:4) and pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with granite shade over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 in repairs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Dismantling of stone slab and tiles laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any discription of thickness in floor (ii) The unit rate is deemed to be included for rounding to edges of stone slabs.

S&F in repair powder coated aluminium frame,for doors,windows, ventilators with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair Anodised aluminium door shutters,aluminium section weighing 0.55kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips , rubber neoprene packing, handles 2 Nos in each doors,hinges anodised aluminium snap beading screws etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 9mm thick prelaminated particle board, interior grade, prelaminated both sides with decorative choice lamination fixed with screws to aluminium frame all as specified and as directed.

M&L 4mm thick colour tinted float glass and glazing with oil putty in square exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane all as directed.

M&L aluminium body door closer hydraulically regulated, designation No.3, universal type, suitable for door shutters of 851 to1000 mm in width and of weight between 61 to 80 kg and fixed including taking down all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 150mm long aluminium, anodised, barrel tower bolts of extruded section, in repairs, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 8 to 10mm thick Mineral Fiber or Polycarbonate ceiling of size 600 X 600 mm board Acoustic CAC -35, fire resist (Class -A (UL), Light reflectance -0.90, Standard Humidity resistance and fine texture factory applied latex paint , including frame work for ceiling of GI frame work for channel 0.55 mm thick with two unequel flanges of 20 and 30mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450mm center to centre/intermediate channel 0.9mm thick having two equal flanges of 15mm each and web of 45mm suspended from soffit and approximate 900 mm centre to centre with GI cleat and steel expansion fastners with and including ceiling section (n.exc. 0.6m C/C) of 0.55 mm thickness having kurled web of 50 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm center to center, and as per manufacture instructions including taking down of exisiting damaged ceiling complete all as specified and as directed. Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering and Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land. Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M&L stainless steel work of Gde 304 for stairs (framed) including stringers, treads, landing balusters, hand rail etc., including cleats, brackets etc,. complete including taking down existing one all as specified and directed. Note :- The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for cost of cutting the damaged portion of stairs (framed) stringers, treads, landing balusters, hand rail and replace the damaged portion.

M&L 2.00mm thick PVC tiles/ sheets, laminated, plain coloured, marbled mosaic or mottled finish, laid with approved rubber based adhesive in floors including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed

S&F stainless steel letters 12 inches height made out of 1mm thick stainless steel plate, cut folded, welded to required shape including fixing on the granite with bolt nuts/ steel surface etc, including taking down existing one complete all as directed by Engineer - in - Charge

M&L Framed work such as grills, gratings, angles etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of static water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including dismantling/ taking down existing framed work and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint including one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L 2mm thick fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated sheeting with two corrugation side lap fixed with L-type or J type or cranked hook bolt all as spd including taking down existing sheet any type/description complete all as specified and as directed

M&L in repair mild steel black sheet 0.80mm thick in wall cladding, steel gates and similar works, cut to size, holes punched including round headed screws, clout nails for rebates and fixed to steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with rebated or welded seams including bending or turning up mitred angles etc as required.

M&L Removing accumulated debris as shown at places to out side of MD land all as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:-Contractor shall visit the site to ascertain the distance where the materials has to be disposed.
