Repair and Strengthening of Intake gate including winch machine along with other electromechanical works at Ujh Barrage.

a)Repair and Strengthening of Intake gate including winch machine by way of dismantling winch machine canopy cover sheet, cleaning all the parts with diesel, removing all the worn-out parts of winch machine assembly by way of gas cutting and other tools and tackles. Job includes P/F of Bronze bushes – 08 Nos APS, Pinion gear – 03 Nos APS, Nuts, Bolts & Washers in the winch machine assembly. Job includes fabrication of MS sheet of suitable size as a winch machine canopy cover. Assembling and greasing of parts of complete winch machine assembly after completion of job and thereafter testing it manually for upward and downward movement of gate. b) Repair to the hoisting assembly of intake gate by way of dismantling floating shaft (b/s) and pinion gear 02 Nos. Job includes rebuilding/ re-metalling of floating shaft (b/s) and pinion gear 02 Nos by way of welding, turning, grinding and then finishing it to the reqd. shape and size. Job also includes P/F of Nuts & Bolts to the Flanged shaft couplings (04 Nos) and gaskets 04 Nos. Assembling and greasing of parts of complete hoisting unit assembly after completion of job and thereafter testing it manually for upward and downward movement of gate. Job includes strengthening/repairing/up-keeping of chequred plates edges laid all over the hoisting deck of HR gates by way of chipping the cracked/weakened welded joints, wherever occurred. Brushing, cleaning the joint surface then welding the weakened joint with standard quality M.S electrodes after proper leveling the chequred plates by P/F M.S packing strips underneath the joints for leveled surface amongst the plates. c) Adjustment of rope fall of steel wire rope of intake gate by way of dismantling of rope plates of steel wire after erection of tripod stand. Job includes adjusting rope fall length by giving equal tension to the rope at both ends and re-fitment of rope plates. Job includes P/F of shims to the base of Plummer block bearing type (SMR-513 & SMR-518), U clamps using tools and tackles to align shafts properly. Providing/Applying cardium compound to the steel wire rope, by way of removing dirt, dust and rust from the rope with the help of wire brush making scaffolding arrangement and applying cardium compound to the steel wire rope of intake gate. d) Repair of intake gate by way of dismantling worn out MS flats, Nuts & Bolts, bottom and side rubber seal and P/F of bottom rubber seal (flat type) as per sample size of 5 m length and side rubber seal (bulb type) as per sample size of 4.50 m length, P/F of MS flat of length 10 m, nuts, bolts and washers of requisite size to provide equal compression throughout the length to prevent leakage of water. Job includes dismantling of damaged lights on intake gate including wiring and replaced it with the new 100 W LED Flood lights 02 Nos including wiring, clamps, wiring sleeves. Painting of all by way of preparing the surface by scrape off old worn-out paint with hand scrapes/emery paper, then complete painting of the intake gate hoist deck structure using 2 coats of paint after applying one coat anti corrosive red oxide primer. Complete job includes labour charges (skilled, semi-skilled), hire charges for the machinery and other tools and tackles required for the execution of job along with the cost of material including transportation charges besides charges of installation and taxes as applicable.
