WIDENING OF ROAD AT J AND B SUB AREA AND SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD IN FRONT OF SIG COY DANAPUR CANTT

Repairs to pot holes any depth, n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by supplying and filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Moorum/red bajri filling, Spreading , levelling over field earth including watering, ramming, rolling and finishing to required size and shape as in berms etc complete all as specified and as directed Note : Moorum shall be brought from outside of MD land at contractor at own source

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete to required levels, gradient , slopes, camber and super elevation including filling depression with and including approved earth which may occur during rolling including watering before and during rolling complete all as specified.

M&L 200 mm thick spread thickness soling ( or sub base ) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surfaces formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified.

M&L 150mm thick (7.50 cm thick each layer compacted thickness) Water Bound Maccadam (WBM) with Granite, trap or Basalt , coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) for 1st layer and grading 3 ( 50 mm to 20 mm size) for 2nd layer,spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required all as specified.( Area of consolidated thickness of 150mm thick shall only be measured as single layer and it will not be measured in two layers) separately.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam top surfces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.and then applying evenly a tack coat with VG-10 grade bituminous primer at 10Kg/10 Sqm all as specified and as directed.

M&L Premix bituminous, macadam, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber ( consolidated) thickness 75 mm or less using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 as binder @4% by weight of total mix using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surface completed all as specified and as directed. Note :- Mixing shall be done in hot mix plants and spreading shall be done with mechanical paver.

M&L Bituminous premix aphaltic semi-dense concrete 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG 30) by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power static road roller to a uniform smooth surface completed all as specified and as directed. Note :- Mixing shall be done in hot mix plants and spreading shall be done with mechanical paver.

M&L for marking lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. exceeding 10cm wide on bitumenous/ concrete pavement / path surfaces with retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint,not less then 2mm thick of white,golden/yellow as approved applied with machine as per manufacture's instructions, including perparation of surface complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Road Studs (Cat Eye), aluminium alloy die casted, of size 132mm (L), 6 LEDs (03 Nos on each side) installed with gum fix each of approved quality and water proof grade should greater than IP67 complete all as specified and directed, Make- SUN EYES, DARK EYE, H2 SAFETY INDIAL, GREEN LITE, Model No-SS-1001 or equivalent.

S&F Road Studs (Cat Eye), aluminium alloy die casted, 100mmx100mm dynamically designed with very high impact strength and fitted with 3 panels of glass beads containing 7 highly reflective glass beads and reflector element on two sides and fixed over road surfaces, minimum co-efficient of retro reflective sheeting for high intensity grade of 22000 series (colour as approved by GE) complete all as spd and directed.

M&L for Continuous brick edging, with width equal to the depth of the brick, laid dry, laid on end vertically using old size burnt clay bricks sub class B brick (crushing strength not less than 75 kg/Sqcm) ,including necessary excavation and earth work and temping ground around bricks in any type of soil and removal of surplus spoil etc. to a distance n. exc 50m complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation n.exc 30cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Hardcore of gauge exc. 63 mm but not exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface using broken bricks complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation all as specified and directed

M&L for Machine Pressed precast glazed colour reflective PCC interlocking paver block 60mm thick mixed with grey cement and pigment, laid dry and bedded on sand cushion complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The pattern of paver block shall be approved by GE and shall be of approved make. Note: Payment of sand cushion shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for Providing, plain cement concrete type B1, 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary form work all as specified and as directed

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks (old size) straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls, built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces and finishing the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Reinforced concrete pipes 300 mm dia, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement Concrete ( 1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in bed to 300 mm bore drain pipes including packing under , and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested ;in complete all as specified and directed.

M&L precast cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregates, as in man hole cover slabs, shelves, and similar work set in CM (1:4).complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Mild steel deformed or twisted bars ( TMT) 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire ( annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia. or higher complete all as specified.

M&L Mild steel round bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for man holes cover handles, rungs complete all as specified.
