PART-I Removal of following existing unserviceable cane/old broken wooden components of various furniture items or similar items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and Supply and fixing new components of teak wood in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing, placing every part in-tact and polishing/painting the disturbed portion of Chair Dining as applicable as per drg No.FD-279/262/228/FD/MAP-II/05. Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE (P) Air Force Gurgaon including BSO's Furniture Yard at 13 BRD Palam as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix front leg made out of well seasoned teak wood free from cracks and knots, sap wood and other blemishes , shape and size as per Drg after removing the old/broken one without damaging the other parts complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for canning for seat and back: Canning shall be done with plastic cane 2mm wide half round for seat and 3mm wide for border in white colour 0.4mm thick weighing not less than 6 gms per 10 running meter in true "godrej pattern" all as shown on drawings. Holes for caning shall be 12.5 mm centre to centre and complete all as specified and directed. (Make : Premier/Shah or as approved).

Removing the existing unserviceable cane plastic from the chair and supply and fixing PVC seat 4mm thick in lieu of cane after providing corner support and one additional stiffener at centre for support of PVC seat. The PVC seat shall be fixed with proper screws and good workmanship .Due care shall be taken while fixing the PVC seat, the gaps if appears be filed with putty mixed with adhesive so as to make surface smooth and tidy. The PVC seat shall get approved from BSO and GE before supply. MAKE OF PVC SEAT –AMKO/COMFO or equivalent as approved by GE.

The cover of the cushion shall be of best quality swed tapestry cloth ( Not less than Rs.200 per meter) as approved by GE complete , Each cushion cover shall be provided with best quality zip stitched on one edge of cushion with standard fitting.

Long Stiffener : It shall be made of well seasoned teak wood free from cracks and knots cut to size as per drg duly finished/ french polished over a coat of primer and to be fixed with suitable no of screw wood steel .

Material and labour for canning for seat and back: Canning shall be done with plastic cane 2mm wide half round for seat and 3mm wide for border in white colour 0.4mm thick weighing not less than 6 gms per 10 running meter in true "godrej pattern" all as shown on drawings. Holes for caning shall be 12.5 mm centre to centre and complete all as specified and directed. (Make : Premier/Shah or as approved).

Removing the existing unserviceable cane plastic from the chair and supply and fixing PVC seat 4mm thick in lieu of cane after providing corner support and one additional stiffener at centre for support of PVC seat. The PVC seat shall be fixed with proper screws and good workmanship .Due care shall be taken while fixing the PVC seat, the gaps if appears be filed with putty mixed with adhesive so as to make surface smooth and tidy. The PVC seat shall get approved from BSO and GE before supply. MAKE OF PVC SEAT –AMKO/COMFO or equivalent as approved by GE.

Drawer made of 16 mm thick plywood BWP grade with bothside sumica 0.8/1 mm thick with 1.6 mm thick PVC edging through edge bander machine of shade as approved by EIC/GE with 2 mm thick PVC edging in front & sides and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood with white sunmica 0.8 mm thick (Make-Century ply/Greenply/Archidply) complete with telescopic channel (make -Ebco/Ozone/Hettich) complete . Rest all as per drg.

Taking out old torn/ faded cushion cover from foam cushions and supply and fixing new cushion cover to the existing cushion. The cover of the cushion shall be of best quality suede tapestry cloth ( Not less than Rs.450 per meter) as approved by GE complete , Each cushion cover shall be provided with best quality matching zip stitched on one edge of cushion with standard fitting with pipeing all around and as directed by ENGR-in-C.

Scratching the entire wooden pallets of sofa 3 seater , filling putty to the bore holes making surface smooth by scratching it with sand emery paper, it shall be French polish with high gloss finish, after properly cleaned and smoothened the surface.
