M & L Boring /drilling & reaming Borewell of 550mm dia. in all types of soil including rocky strata, boulders etc. for casing pipe, by suitable method prescribed, including collecting samples from different strata, repairing and submitting strata chart/bore log, including hire & running charges of all equipments, tools, plants & machineries required for the job up to 350 Meter below ground level complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (a) The bore/tube well should be constructed by the agency as approved by GE(A) Kolkata (b) The Rates also inludes transportation of Rig Machine & T&P at Site. (c) Trail Bore will be drilled, if sufficient wet strata is available then ERW casing will be lowered. In case strata is not available payment only for drilling will be made. (d) Drill Cutting Samples need to be properly washed and to be collected at every One Meter Interval and kept systematically.

M & L for development of Tubewell in accordance to Clause 9.3 of IS2800-19-91 Part-I with compressed air after 25% extra capacity pump by pump by pumping muddy water & Water Test for Chemical & Bacteriological Test complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Testing and developing the bore well by means of air compressor 5000 PSI till sand free clear water discharge is obtained to achieve maximum yield of suitable capacity for first 20 hours running complete all as specified (All equipments shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost). b) If desirable result is not obtained, thus it is to be run for more no of hours. c) Testing portability of water by chemical analysis such as PH Value, dissolved solids, hardness as CaCo3 and Calcium, Magnesium, Chlorides, sulphate, nitrate, alkality, Iron Turbidity NTU, mineral oil, colour hazen units, taste, odour, residual free chlorine, total Coliform per 100mm (microbiological test) and E Coli as per 100ml (microbiological test) as well as bacteriological portability from any Govt lab accredited/NABL certified lab and as per IS 2800-19-1991 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Yield Test for Borewell by continuously pumping for 24 hours to determine safe Pumping Yield complete all as specified and directed. Note:-a) M&L Yield testing of the tube well by means of engine driven pumping set of suitable capacity, the discharge shall be measured by providing orific system or ‘V’ notch fixed to steel tank of adequate capacity. (All equipments to be arranged by contractor at his own cost).

M & L for Gravel packing Tubewell construction in accordance with Clause 9.3 of IS2800-19-91 Part-I including providing gravel (fine/medium/coarse), in required grading size as per actual requirement. Note: after gravel shrouding up to the sand layer is to be tapped, cement ceiling is recommend for 2-8 mm thickness against the impermeable clay zone just above the tapped sand zone complete all as specified and directed. Note:-a) Pea gravel of size 1.5mm to 4.5mm packed all around 300mm bore housing pipe and 200mm bore blind pipe, strainer pipe upto entire depth as required at site in new bore-well . b) For the purpose of measurment,gravel brought by the contractor shall be stacked properly at site & measurments of stack shall be carried out before use and after use(left unused) to arrive at the net qty of gravel used by the contractor in the work & payment against this item shall only be made for the qty of gravel used in the work not for the total qty of gravel brought.

Supplying, assembling ,lowering and fixing in vertical position in bore well, PVC Schedule 80 pipe of 300mm nominal dia confirming to ASTM-D-1785/IS: 12818 including all necessary fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, assembling ,lowering and fixing in vertical position in bore well, PVC Schedule 80 pipe of 150mm nominal dia confirming to ASTM-D-1785/IS: 12818 including all connected fittings etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, assembling ,lowering and fixing in vertical position in bore well, Fiber Glass Fillter 150mm nominal size dia pipe with slot 0.5 mm to 0.75 mm and 6mm wall thickness (min) confirming to ASTM-D-1785/IS: 12818 including all connected fittings & accessories etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for all reducers, bail plug ,well cap,MS strip for centering , MS iron clamps & Steel wire, all sorts pieces,electrlogging and sample strata box etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Reducing socket for connecting 300mm bore housing pipe with 150mm bore. b) Mild steel bail plug suitable for 150mm bore pipe 1.5 metre long having wall thickness of 6.4 mm with strong iron hooks. c) Well cap fabricated out of 6 mm thick mild steel sheet for 300mm bore housing pipe threaded similar to housing pipe with handle made and of 20mm dia mild steel round bar. d) Mild steel flat iron 75mmx6mm as center guides (set of three), standard pattern for 300/150 mm bore housing pipe. e) MS clamps made out of flat iron 125mmx12mm and 01 metre long with nut, bolts of 22mm dia of suitable length for 300mm bore housing pipe. f) Mild steel structural steel E-250 grade 410W (ISMB-150) fixed independently without connecting plate including two coats of black paint over a coat of red oxide . g)10mm thick structural steel should be Fe 290 (Grade E165) mild steel black plate of size 600mm dia & cut into two semicircular equal parts with 300 mm dia hole in the center. (h) Stell wire rope 8mm galvanised IWRC as per IS-2262/02alongwith suitable size clamps & U bolts for holding the submersible pumps and motor of capacity upto 35HP complete-40RM each borewell.

Supplying, assembling, lowering and fixing in vertical position in bore well heavy grade MS column pipe of 100mm dia with flanged ends including provisioning of MS flanged heavy duty flanged joining with joining materials by bolt, nuts , washers & rubber gasket incl fittings & accessories complete all as specified and directed. Note:-a) Mild steel Column pipe heavy duty 5.4 mm wall thickness 100 mm dia in 3 m length including flanged both side .

Supplying and laying PVC insulated industrial submersib flat copper cable of 6 Sqmm 3 Core with end termination incl copper lugs of suitable size and type and necessary electrical connection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plugging of old abondonned bore well by putting on 6mm thick MS plate on the casing pipe and fixed it with M.S casing pipe by run welding after cutting the plate in round shape to cover up the casing pipe entirely for safety purpose all as specified and directed.

S&F CI sluice valve flanged ends and drilled class PN 1.6 with steel spindle confirming to-BIS-14846 , suitable for 150mm bore CI pipe including jointing with rubber packing 3mm thick, bolts, nuts and washer complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Non return valve (Reflux valve) without by-pass arrangement suitable for 150mm bore of CI pipe flanged and drilled including jointing material rubber packing gasket nuts and bolts, washers etc,confirming to IS-5312 Part-I(brass Seat)complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Air release valve double chamber of cast iron with two air outlet 10 mm bore fixed in CI water mains of 150mm bore, IS-14845 complete all as specified and directed.
