M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces, in area n. exc 400 Sqm,in plan depth exc 50mm and not exc 100mm deep including removing of unserviceable material to a distance not exc 50m & stacking complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour 75mm (compacted thickness) in two layers each layer n.exc 7.5 cm thick WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63mm to 40mmsize) blinded with screening type A spread and rolled with 8 tonne to 10 power road roller to reqd gradient and camber compl all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repair to pot holes, any depth, area n.exc 1.0 sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen @ 10Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, using @ 4% weight of road metal well binder @ 9.8Kg Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed to true surface (incl supply of premix macadam binder and chipping to uniform surface ) depth of pot hole n.exc 30mm compl all as specified and directed Note:- Material for premixed bituminous macadam shall be mixed in hot mixing plant.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber mixed in hot mix plant & laid with mechanical paver rolled & compacted with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less)with paving bitumin (VG-10) @ 4.5% by weight of total mix,complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - charge.

Material and labour for preparing unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam (WBM) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning with gunny bags to remove all loose dust and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne mechanical roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Material for mix design of bituminous (SDAC) semi dense asphaltic concrete will be get done from approved lab.

S& F in repair speed breaker ,with model No Dark eye DA-1008 fixed with fillings concrete and all as per directed by Engr-In -Charge.

S& F in replacement Cat Eye, Yellow colour road stud ABS plastic body confirming to IS 67-1977 having load capacity of 40 tonnes heavy reflector yellow colour both side complete all as specified and directed. Make : Dark Eye Cat Part No DA-978 or equivalent as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning with gunny bags to remove all loose dust and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 05 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Material for premixed bituminous Semi Dense Asphaltic concrete will be done in hot mixing plant.

Material and Labour for marking lines dashes, arrows, letters etc on road pavement and the like of any width using thermoplastic compound white / yellow paint, confirming to BIS 3262, and according to the specification laid down IRC & MORTH specification 20011 (4th revision), hot applied, 1.25 mm thick, provided with thermostat machine complete all as specified.
