Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300mm dia, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specifications Clause 201. Scarifying existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50 mm by mechanicalmeans (Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres

Dressing & profiling the existing WBM/Granular surface layer of the road from edge to edge of the existing carriage way, filling low spots and ravelled stretches by providing additional materials of same type as that of the existing top surface layer, cambering, watering, rolling with 8-10 tonne roller to obtain specified compaction, etc to obtain a uniform formation surface with cross fall from the road centre line to the outer edges of the existing embankment. Works to be carried out in accordance with MORT&H specifivation section 300 and as directed by the deptt. (rate considered as per SOR for road bridge and culvert works for all divisions inder PWD Assam 2009-10, at sections where the top level of the subgrade of the existing road surface is not proposed to be raised by more than 100mm.

Embankment Construction with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits (Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirment of table 300-2 ( including compensation of earth.)( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a) From private land

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen shoulders with approved materials obtained from borrowpits, with all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Table 300-2 (including land compensation of earth) as per drawing and Technical Specifications Clause 305. As per Annexure I

Excavation in Soil by Manual Means. (a)(Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means including loading in truck for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with all lifts and lead upto1000 metres.)

Granular Sub Base in paves shoulder with Coarse Graded Material (Table 400-2) ( Construction of granular sub base by providing coarse raded material, spreading in uniform layer with motorgrader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotovator at OMC and co,acting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per cl. 401. Including extra lead beyond 5.00 km for carriage of materials from quarry to middle of the road. (ii) for grading II Material As per Annexure I

Water Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding material to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate,watering and compacting to the reqd. density ( with an initial lead of 5.0 km. ) 'Grading- III

Prime coat Prime coat (Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 1.00 kg/sqm using mechanical means.)( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) Tack Coat :- Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/ grannula surface cleaned with mechanical broom ( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the Deptt.) ii) With bitumen emulsion- CSS-1 (IS- 8887-2004 ) (b) dry & hungry bituminous surface

Bituminous Macadam (Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a pr(including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0 Km initial lead from mixing plant ) ( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a)'with VG-30 grade bitumen (ii) for Grading I ( 40 mm nominal size ) As per Annexure I

Semi - Dense Bituminous Concrete (Providing and laying semi dense bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5% of mix and filler transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the reqd. grade, lavel and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled,vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoSRT&H cl. no.508. complete in all respect. (including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0 Km initial lead from mixing plant )( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a)'with 60/70 or VG-30 grade bitumen (ii) for grading-II )13mm nominal size)

Retro reflectorised Traffic sign: Providing and erecting of Retro-Reflectrorised cautionary, mandatory & informatory sign as per IRC: 67 made of high intensity encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick fixed on an angle iron of 25x25x4mm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly design foundation with M-15 grade Cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing and sign. Providing reflective pavement marker with a provision of spike at the bottom with Micro prismatic lens in both direction having thermoplastic body adhering to the specification and guidelines of MoSRTH & H's fixed to the road surface using the adhesives and the procedures recommended by the manufacturers with three months replacement warranty and free maintenance.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Planting of Trees and their Maintenance for one Year (Planting of trees by the road side (Avenue trees) in 0.60 m dia holes, 1 m deep dug in the ground, mixing the soil with decayed farm yard/sludge mannure, planting the saplings, backfilling the trenches, watering , fixing the tree guatrd and maintaining the plants for one year.
