EXCAVATION AND EARTH WORK Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying of cables etc. n.exc 10 sq m on plan and n.exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft / loose Soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning and filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material (soils) to distance of exc 250 m but n.exc 500m and as depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling sand under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Post Constructional Antitermite Treatment along external wall below concrete or masonary apron using chemical emulsion at the rate of 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc in apron complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Post Constructional Antitermite Treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and as directed.

CONCRETE WORK

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in copings / channels inside the manholes / benching etc including formwork and weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and making the surface even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in bed plate / roof kerb / PCC padding and haunching etc complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: - (i) PCC shall be laid in slope and thickness shall be averege (minimum average thickness 25mm or as per site requirement for maintaining the slope) as per site including filling in depression by providing concrete bench marks for maintaining the perfect slope to drain out the rain water. (ii) No hand mixing is allowed, mixing shall be at ground floor and mixed materials deposited on roof by manually / mechanically to achieve the strength and workmanship.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded agreegates as in man hole covers of size as per site requirement including finishing the surfaces even and smooth including making holes and inserting MS conduit pipe with provision of MS round bar 10mm dia made in shape for lifting the manhole cover - 2 Nos with each cover complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 (nominal mix) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggreegate as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, shelves and the like complete all as specified and as directed. Note for Sl Item No 12 & 13 : Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply only liquid waterproofing compund.

BRICK WORK

Material and labour for brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick, built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

STONE MASONRY WORK

Material and labour for drilling holes for pipes etc in cudappah / granite including RCC slab n.exc 25 mm dia and n.exc 150 mm in depth complete all as specified and directed.

WOOD WORK / FORM WORK

Use and removal of steel shutters as in formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc also splays between floors and beams etc, for flat, rough finished surfaces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

WOOD WORK / FORM WORK

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) not exc 1.5 Sqm each complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) exc 1.5 Sqm but n.exc 4 Sqm each complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down shutters of any description exc 1 Sqm but n.exc 2 Sqm each complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fixing pressed steel frames for doors with one or more rebates including necessary fixing lugs, hinges, lock strike plate etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 35mm thick factory made plain, framed, penelled shutters (any number of panels), with panels of timber flat on both sides (feather edged), or of veneered particle board medium density, wood particle board with commercial face veneers and fitted to chowkats, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Shutters shall be brought at site without applying primer and got approved by GE.

Supply and fix 35mm thick second class hard wood glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive gauze, glass etc, (with sash bars) divide into square and half portion upto middle rail and will be provided with 12mm thick prelaminated board laminated on both side and edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc, sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR Part-I, Section 8, Clause No. 8.20(a), complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) door frames of cross section 90 mm x 45 mm having single rebate of 32 mm x 15 mm to receive shutter of 30 mm thickness. The laminte shall be moulded with fire resistant grade unsaturated polyester resin and chopped mat. Door frame laminate shall be 2mm thick and shall be filled with suitable wooden block in all the three legs. The frame shall be covered with fiber glass from all sides. MS stay shall be provided at the bottom to steady the frame., all as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 30 mm thick Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) flush door shutter in different plain and wood finish made with fire retardant grade unsaturated polyester resin, moulded to 3 mm thick FRP laminate all around, with suitable wooden blocks inside at required places for fixing of fittings and polyurethane foam (PUF)/Polystyrene foam to be used as filler material throughout the hollow panel, casted monolithically with testing parameters of FRP laminate conforming to table 3 of IS: 14856 complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and as directed.

BUILDERS HARDWARE WORK

Supply and fix Galvanised steel wire cloth. 0.63 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with GI wire staples complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 100mm size, MS butt hinges medium weight cold rolled, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 150mm long, aluminium barrel tower bolts of extruded section, ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 150mm long, extruded aluminium alloy handles, fabricated type, anodised, ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix continuous (piano) hinges, width of flaps 30mm, mild steel, bright finish or electro-galvanised complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 100mm long, aluminium anodised, barrel tower bolts of extruded section complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 100mm size, Hasp and staple, safety type, brass with mild steel hinge pin including bolt to hinge plate and fixed with screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 300mm long and mild steel chromium plated sliding door bolts, plate type, with bright bolt not less than 12mm dia with and including a minimum of 6 bolts and nuts, four on bolt plate and two on staple plate and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix mild steel spring 250mm for door, ordinary rat tail rod pattern springs, including roller and roller plate including welding as required for steel frame complete all as specified and as directed. Note : work shall be carried out in MD Qtrs / OTM accns in different locations of domestic / technical area as per site requirement upto 4 storieyed building.

Supply and fix Galvanised steel wire cloth 0.56 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18 mm and fixed with tinned tracks or wooden beeding patti complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs curtain rods of metalic 25 mm dia harrision rails, mild steel, chromium plated including long projected bracket of heavy section both side fixed in position by drilling holes in walls and fixed the brackets with rawl plugs and steel screw complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repair Towel ring of PTMT fixed with and including CP brass screws and wooden/plastic cleats (minimumwt 90gms) complete all as specified and as directed.

STEEL, ALUMINIUM AND IRON WORK

Material and labour for framed work of flat iron minimum 3mm thick for all around of RCC with sharp edges and grinding the all corners including all welding and welding the TMT bar all as directed including all painting etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note : RCC and TMT bars shall be measured and paid in respective items.

Material and labour for framed work such as grills of approved design using square bars, with frame of MS hallow square tubes framed guard bars etc, and similar work confirming to Grade Fe-410-0 or Fe-310-0, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) aluminium frame for windows, ventilators with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) aluminium shutters for windows/ventilators, sliding including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required with extruded builtup standard tubular sections / appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc, aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, CP brass / stainless steel screws, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : quoted rates are deemed to be included sliding arrengments for sliding window, including locking arrengement, powder coated aluminium handle 01- No with each leaf, tower bolt 2-Nos each leaf, 2-Nos heavy duty aluminium hinges with each leaf and 01-No powder coated stay for each leaf with casement window and moving arrengement for louvers in case of louvers type ventilators.

ROOF COVERING WORK

Taking down carefully existing bitumen tarfelt including plastering upto 15mm thick cleaning the surface and make free of dirt, foreign particles, laitance followed by grinding all protrusions to make surface modulated and removing all foreign materials / Bitumenous primer completely, cleaning and washing the existing surface of roof slab, terraces including flashings and junctions of parapets/Curb walls etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note : quoted rate is inclusive of removal of debris and taking down material from roof to a distance outside MoD land.

Material and labour for cleaning the newly plastered surfaces throughly with wire brushes and providing water proofing treatment all as given here-in-after:- (a) Bituminous primer @ 0.3 litre per square metre conforming to IS-3384-1986 (b) 3 mm thick APP polymer modified moply FP with minimum weight 3.0 Kg per square metre membrane (one layer) laid by torch application method. (c ) Applying two coats of bituminous based aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg in two coats (total in two coats) per square metre over membrane. (d) The overlaps of APP shall be as per SSR part - I and APP shall be laid by expert/ skilled workers only, bitumen based aluminious paint applied by brushes only.

CEILING AND LINING WORK

Supply and fixed in repairs 18mm thick prelaminated particle board, exterior grade, medium density, one side with decorative choice lamination and the other side balancing white lamination as in panels of partitions/ cup board shelves including providing wooden brackets minimum 25mm x 25mm and long as depth of cupboard for support of laminated boards and the like fixed in wooden frame with wooden beading compete all as specified and as directed.

FLOOR FINISHES AND PAVING WORK

Material and labour for brushing cement slurry @ 3.00 Kg per Sqm on existing concrete surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 25mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B0 using 12.5mm graged aggregate finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for coloured Non-skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick of colour/patteren as approved by GE and (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 Sqm, in floor etc over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 and set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of the tile including jambs by making the mitred angles at corners complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for coloured glazed ceramic tiles 300 mm x 450 mm & 7 mm thick as in vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc, colour/patteren as approved by GE and set and jointed in neat cement slurry over and including 10 mm thick backing coat in CM 1:3 complete and pointed in white or coloured cement to match hte shade of tile complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Skirting shall be provided to match with colour and size of floor tiles provided in rooms.

Material and labour for repairs to sunken floor slab with the following specifications:- (a) Demolition of PCC and taking out old brick bat filling and roughening surfaces of old concrete floor and wall by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc. (b) PCC 1:2:4, type B0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate averaging 50mm thick as in sunken floor, with proper slope towards GI spout. The dia of GI Spout pipe shall be 50mm medium grade. The minimum length of Spout shall be 500mm and if any spout comes above chajja then the length of the spout shall be more than Chajja projection. Ends of Spout shall be tippered and any cutting through brick/ RCC structure shall be done by the Contractor, quoted rates are deemed to be included of this aspects. (c) providing 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement over bottom and vertical surfaces finishing the surface even and smooth with using extra cement.

(d) Damp proof course on horizontal / Vertical surfaces with preparation & applying one coat of primer (33% dilution) and two coats of undiluted material @ 10.67 litres per 10 sqm of Make : smart care Damp proof of M/s asian paint or equivalent for water proofing compound. (e) Graded Brick bats filling under sunken floor of required thickness as per site, (f) PCC 1:3:6, type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate 75mm thick, over brick bats filling as in subbase. Notes : (i) For payment purpose only plan floor area shall be measured. (ii) After Coating of Water proofing compound, ponding test shall be carried out by filling the sunken surface with water for 72 Hrs and get approved by Engr-in-Charge if any leakage/ seepage noticed, the Contractor will re-do the whole process without any extra payment.

All as item No. 51 above but area not exc 0.36 Sqm as in Kitchen for trap portion. The trap shall be paid extra in below items complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cudappah stone slab 20-25mm thick, machine cut, laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed bed in CM 1:6, laid and jointed in grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of slab including rubbing and polishing Complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for kota stone slab 20-25mm thick polished of uniform colour as in floors of landing /passages and similar works etc including in riaser & treads of steps over and including 15mm thick cement screed 1:6 and jointed with grey cement mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The exposed edges of treads shall be provided of full moulding and with three line grooves in each tread. The treads and raisers shall be provided with single piece kota stone.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick, cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, as in plinth protection and finish even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 75mm thick, cement concrete 1:4:8, type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of floor complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for machine pressed precast conctete interlocking paver blocks with grey cement and pigment, shape, size and colour as approved by GE, confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-40 Grade, complete all as specified and as directed.

PLASTERING AND POINTING WORK

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick surface, finished even and smooth without using extra cement including in patches complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 15 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick surface, finished even and smooth without using extra cement including in patches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 10 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 as in ceiling surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including in patches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 10 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 on concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound @ 0.12 litre per bag of cement or as per manufacturer's instruction and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately

WHITE WASHING, COLOUR WASHING AND DISTEMPERING WORK

Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surface of wall and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment from old brick/concrete surface of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper using roller, brushes including in patches over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer on old plastered surfaces of wall complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old plstered surfaces of ceiling by scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and greasy spots, removing nails and make the surface smooth by using sand paper and fill the holes with putty etc., and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

GLAZING WORK

Material and labour for 4.00mm thick sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with rubber gasket / aluminium beading in square n exc 0.5 sq. m in each pane including small pieces as required for louvers of ventilators complete all as specified and as directed.

PAINTING WORK

Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces exc. 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated wood or wooden based surfaces exc. 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and as directed.

WATER SUPPLY, PLUMBING, DRAINS AND SANITARY APPLIENCES WORK

Supply and fixed in repairs viterous china wash hand basin of size 550 x 400 mm, white colour, flat back excluding taps, chain and plug and porcelean stopper but including CI brackets and CP waste fitting and waste pipe complete all as specified and as directed .

Supply and fixed in repairs vitreous china squatting pan Orissa pattern size 580x440mm white with CI P or S trap front or back inlet and integral foot rests including connection to trap to flush pipe etc complete including packing bottom and sides in PCC 1:2:4, type B0 (12.5m graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs 10 litres capacity PVC Valveless symphonic action type flushing cistern high / low level white complete with inlet, ball valve float and handle including brackets and telescopic down flush pipes and jointing with WC, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs PVC connection 15mm size with PTMT nuts of length 600mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs pillar taps, cast copper alloy, with capstan heads, chromium plated, screwed down high pressure, fancy type of 15 mm bore size with or without lettered 'Hot' or 'Cold' with long screwed shanks and flynuts, screwed for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs stainless steel sink with draining board, made out of 1.00mm thick steel sheet for kitchen or laboratory with plug, washers waste pipe, cast iron cantilever brackets, connecting union overall size 915mmx460mm with bowl size 410mm x 330mm x 160mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down steel tubing of 15 mm dia bore and connections from walls and cellings or laid in floor, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note : Pipes shall be got tested before providing tiles by Pressure testing machine and got approved and any leakage seepage observed, the contractor shall be re-do the same without any extra payment.

Supply and fix galvanised Iron tubes 20 mm dia medium grade with all fittings and fixtures such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, back nuts, connectors, diminishing pieces caps pegs and clamps union etc. laid in wall/floor/ceiling as in concealed work including cutting chases in wall and making good surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs 20mm dia Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs 20mm dia Ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed in repairs 500 Liters capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank (cylindrical vertical with closed top) three layers hoisted and fixed in position complete and all as specified and as directed.

and date of test carried out with white paint on black painted background, wiremesh funnel 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering adequate quantity of charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm thick, 3ft x 3ft all around the electrode including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (a) Quantity of GI wire/ protection pipe beyond 7.5mtrs length shall be measured and paid separately.
