Providing and fixing reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete using preferred make at all levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note: 1.The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor at terms & conditions specified.TMT bars manufactured in the brand name of preferred shall only be permitted subject to furnishing of challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation,yield strength, Bend rebend test etc.
Note : 2. Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.One sample comprising of three specimens shall be collected for every 25MT of bars brought at site .The representive of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each satge right from sampling of testing .All charges ,transport taxes etc shall be borne by the contractor.
Note : 3. the contractor shall be solely respossible all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc at their own cost.
Note : 4. 1.60 mm dia . Soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractore at their own cost and will not be measured for payment .
Note : 5. Other condtion as stipulated in general condition, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim whatsoever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained .
Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using ISMBs, Joists, channels, angles, flats, Tees etc. at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)
Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using Structural steel M.S. plain & chequered plates at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)
Note: For item no. 14 & 15
1. Structural steel conforming to IS: 2062
2. The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from these firms and also testing from third party, if required to be arranged at no extra cost.
3. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate.
4. All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted.
5. Electrodes manufactured by preferred make only shall be used.
Painting wood/steel work with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and made over one coat of approved wood/steel primer including preparing surfaces, filling with putty, scaffolding and cleaning etc. complete. all as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.
On steel surfaces
Supplying and fixing in position Concertina Barbed tape coil of 600 mm dia made from M.S. Galvanized Ribbon Tape of 0.5 mm thickness 19 mm width, stretching the coil to 10 m openable length approx. Fixing the coil with clips upto 4 m height of wall from ground level with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.4 m to 4.00 m apart including supplying and fixing M.S. Galvanized clips, stud tied with G.I. staples etc. complete as per manufacture's specifications and including painting by dipping method the concertina tape coil with 2 coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make over a coat of approved primer at fabrication shop, before bringing the material to site and fixing position etc. All complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.
Note: 1. The coil shall be streached upto a maximum of 10 m.
2. The measurement shall be taken as shortest straight length upto two places of decimal in running meter and rate shall include wastages, watch and ward, labourers, cess, transport, safety kit all taxes etc.
Supplying, stretching and fixing in position 2 ply, 12 gauge, 4 spikes G I Barbed wire at specified spacing, firmly fixed to M . S . angle /RCC / wooden posts either horizontally or inclined manner including suppling and fixing necessary 'J' hooks,bolts, nuts, washers, staples, as required for work at all levels, and any where in RRCAT premises All complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.
Providing and fixing laminated closed cell Polyethylene foam joint filler 20mm thick of preferred make for expansion joint or other places including cutting, positioning, supporting, scaffolding and filling with approved sealing compound etc., all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.
Providing, laying, jointing, fixing and testing PVC rigid pipes of class 'B' of preferred make for sleeves, sewerage ensuring thermal stability for waste water, sewage, acids etc. including all PVC fittings, jointing with durable solvent, testing the pipes at a pressure of 6 Kg per Sq cm etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Supplying, lowering, laying, RCC spun pipes (Class NP2) of IS : 458 with necessary collars, laid to correct grade and levels at all depths including cutting to length, jointing with hemp yarn and C.M. 1:1, caulking the joints and finishing, curing, testing etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm (in two coats ), of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete, including preparing the surface by removing loose dust and dirt with stiff brush and washing the surface with clean water, filling holes with putty, scaffolding and cleaning, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.
Painting the exterior walls and roof with two coats of preferred make and approved shade paint including preparing the surface by removing loose dust and dirt with stiff brush and washing the surface with clean water, treating the surface with antifungal chemical wherever required, filling holes with putty, scaffolding and cleaning, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.
Lettering in English/Hindi of 100mm height and up to 20mm wide including built in vovels i. e. including "Matras" etc. on existing ready surface at all levels using reflecting synthetic enamel based paint of approved shade of Asian, ICI or Burger including cost of paint, paint brush, stensils all taxes, safety kits etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note The commas, full stops, brackets, hyphenation etc. shall be provided as required at no extra cost.
Notes :please refer the following points before submission of tender
1.) RCC wall along with buttresses columns shall be taken up in phase manner (i.e. for example about 240 mts lengh) after erecting the temporary security fencing in the stretch of work taken up like dismentaling and construction work to avoid the tress passes.
2.) The security guard shall be deploy to look after the safety of the boundary along work site. No extra payment shall be entertained for this appointment.
3.) The material for temporary security fencing shall be issued by the department free of cost on returnable basis. Contractor has to make arrangement for transportation & fixing at site and removal of the same after the completion of work.
4.) Provision of contraction joints shall be incorporated in shuttering.
5.) Provision of approved grove pattern if any shall be incoporated in shuttering and finished & consider in respective item.
6.) The finished surface of RCC walls and Butteresse/stiffener columns shall be true to plumb and perfactly levelled and finished.
7.) Survey shall be carried out along the wall and fixed up the stations at uniform distance on either side of existing wall prior to take any construction activity.
8.) Excavation work for foundation shall be carried out manually to avoid damage of any under Ground services.
Imp. Note - a) The bidder must possess valid EPF & ESIC registration. The bidders need to deposit EPF & ESIC with appropriate authority. The reimbursement for EPF & ESIC deposit shall not be made. b) The payment of wages to labourers should be made through bank. c) The bidder must possess sufficient manpower & other resources (as detailed in SGF ) required for the timely completion of work.
