Annual Maintenance contract for Minor and Petty works at NCBS for the year-2026-2027.

Earth work NOTES FOR EARTHWORK ITEMS: No working space shall be considered beyond the width of the foundation concrete (mud-mat) shown in the drawings. The contractor shall consider working space if required while quoting the rate. The quoted rate shall include the quantity of earthwork to be done for working space if required and also for re-filling the foundation. For payment, the measurement shall be restricted only to the foundation width shown in the drawings. No extra shall be permitted and measured for payment on account of working space / battering / benching for excavation and refilling around foundation. Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) / manual means OVER AREAS (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.50m width as well as 10sqm on plan) in ALL KINDS OF SOILS up to a depth not exceeding 1.50m including disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.50m etc., complete all as per specifications. (Disposed earth to be levelled by breaking clods if any and neatly dressed).

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) / manual means for FOUNDATION TRENCHES in ALL KINDS OF SOILS including dressing of sides, ramming of bottom, disposing the surplus excavated materials within a distance of 50m and lift 1.50m complete as per specifications. (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods if any and neatly dressed).

Extra for excavation over areas / foundation trenches in ALL KINDS OF SOILS for each additional depth of 1.5m or Part thereof over initial depth of 1.5m.

Filling available excavated approved earth (excluding rock) in trenches, sides of foundations, plinth, etc; in layers not exceeding 20cms depth breaking clods, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering and dressing, etc; complete for lead upto 50m and all lifts etc., complete as per specifications.

Earth work in surface excavation in all kinds of soils not exceeding 30cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10sqm on plan inclusing getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5, as direct by Engineer-in-charge: (disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed complete as per specifications.)

SURFACE DRESSING of the ground IN ALL KINDS OF SOILS including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15cm depth and disposal of rubbish lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.50m (disposed earth to be levelled by breaking clods if any and neatly dressed) etc; complete all as per specifications.

Masonry Providing and constructing RANDOM RUBBLE MASONRY using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bond stones at every 0.50sqm of wall surface in cement mortar in mixes stipulated below without pinning on face, but including raking out joints and pointing flush in same mortar including curing, etc; complete as per specifications in FOUNDATION AND PLINTH. (Rate includes cost of bond stones wherever provided). (Mix ratio specified is for cement : crushed stone sand)In cement mortar 1:5(Using fine aggregate Crushed stone sand produced by crushed hard stone / rock as per IS: 2116)

Providing and constructing RANDOM RUBBLE MASONRY using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bond stones at 2m apart in cement mortar in mixes stipulated below without pinning on face, but including raking out joints including curing, scaffolding, etc; complete as per specifications IN SUPERSTRUCTURE UPTO FLOOR FIVE LEVEL. (Rate includes cost of bond stones wherever provided. The mix ratio specified is for cement : Crushed stone sand.) Dressing of stones and quoins shall be as follows: DRESSING: Stone shall be hammer dressed on the face, the sides and the beds, to enable it to come into close proximity with the neighbouring stone. The bushing in the face shall not project more than 4cm on an exposed face and 1cm on a face, to be plastered. The hammer dressed stone shall also have a rough tooling for a minimum width of 2.5cm along the 4 edges of the face of stone. Quoins: Neatly dressed with the hammer or chisel to form the required angle and laid header and stretcher alternately. Theses stones shall have a minimum of 2.5cm wide chisel draft at 4 edges, all the edges being in the same plane. In cement mortar 1:5(Using fine aggregate Crushed stone sand produced by crushed hard stone / rock as per IS: 2116)

Providing and constructing Solid Cement Concrete Block masonry in cement mortar 1:6 (cement : Crushed stone sand) using factory made, load bearing, approved quality cement concrete blocks of specified size, Grade C (4.0), as per IS 2185 (Part 1), density of blocks not less than 1800kg/cum, minimum average compressive strength of units is 4.0N/mm² and minimum strength of individual unit is 3.2N/mm², setting in position, curing, raking out joints wherever required etc., complete all leads and all as per specifications and directions of engineer-in-charge in FOUNDATION AND PLINTH. For 200mm thick walls using (400x200x200)mm size blockssize blocks {Using fine aggregate (Crushed stone sand produced by crushed hard stone / rock as per IS: 2116)}
