M & L for cleaning of water storage sump of capacity 5000 gallons (at UWR, 24 Lt's Qtrs and 203 pump house - 02 Nos.) any staging depth including writing date of cleaning on wall of under ground sump with synthetic enamel paint. Brooming/ scraping down of old surface and removal of dirt, sludge from the walls and floors of UG sump, scrapping of old rusted surface of pipeline and painting with one coat of red oxide and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint after cleaning of steel surface of pipes complete all as specified and directed comprising of pre operations mentioned below:- (a) In the first step mechanized dewatering of the sump shall be carried out by opening drain out valve/pump. (b) In the second step, removal of left over dirty water and sludge with suitable sludge removal pump shall be carried out. (c) In the third step, cleaning of internal walls and floors of underground sump shall be carried out by high jet pressure machine and bleaching powder, and ensured that no dirt, sludge or moss remain on surface of the sump. (d) In the fourth step, the remaining sludge shall be removed from the floor with the help of industrial vaccum cleaner.

M & L for disconnecting and stopping of incoming and outgoing pipes by means of hesian cloth to avoid choking of distribution pipe lines, removing complete water from the over head tank cleaning of over head tanks upto 18 mtr of staging (Height of OH Tank) of capacity 1,00,000 gallons (at Varunapuri P/H & BMF P/H - 01 No each) including writing (date of cleaning, capacity of tank) on over head tank pillar with synthetic enamel paint, scrapping of old rusted surface of pipeline (Rising Main, Distribution and Wash out) and painting with one coat of red oxide and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint (Black, Red and Blue colour) after cleaning of steel surface of pipes complete all as specified and as directed comprising of pre operations mentioned below:- (a) In the first step dewatering of the tank shall be carried out by opening drain out valve. Desluding/dewatering of under ground sewage sump 1 lakh litres capacity at Varunapuri gate - sewage pump house, by sewage disposal vehicle upto Approx. depth 15 Mtrs from ground level complete, including working under foul condition and taking out sludge, mud, garbage, cloth pieces and any impurities of any thickness complete from the bottom of the sump or solid waste (silt) in any proportion and silted soil from the existing underground sewage sump. Removing the sludge to a distance not exceeding 2.0 Km by a vaccum tanker (sewage disposal vehicle) out side of MOD land and deposited the same where directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Cleaning the surrounding wall with bleaching powder complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Sewage disposal vehicle should be equipped with a high pressure super shocker machine. (ii) Necessary Items such as suction pipe, clamps and other T&P related works should be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. (iii) Rates of painting of GI weld mesh provided on top of the sewage tank and MS channel support 02 Nos are included in the unit quoted rates and not any claim entertained at later stage.

M&L for cutting of shrubs and bushes including surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft / loose soil including cutting and removal of unwanted grass hard / dense article / small trees and ramming and watering after leveling of complete surrounding area of pump house bldg inside of perimeter wall complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5M wide & n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No.14 above but in soft disintegrated rock complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in excavated earth work including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick in any strata complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50m, depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5M above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
