Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (1 Km. Cartage)

Laying and spreading available soil in the subgrade on a prepared surface, pulversing, mixing the spread soin in place with rotavator with 2 per cent slaked lime having minimum 70 per cent of centents of CaO, grading with motor grader and compacting with the smooth wheel road roller at OMC to the desired density to form a layer of improved Sub-grade as per Technical Specification Clause 403.

Providing laying and spreading material on a prepared sub grade, adding cement @ 2% by weight to the spread material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to from a layer of sub-base.

Providing laying and spreading material on a prepared sub base, cement @ 4% by weight to the spread material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to from a layer of sub-base/base.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen (VG-10) using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with air compressor as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing laying & rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using VG-10 grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by Seal coat-C Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grede and cross fall using Type C as per Technical Specification MORD sepecification no. Clause 510. as per Data Book item No. 5.12 (B) Case - III TypeC

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structure as per drawing and technical specifications, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material.
