M&L for heritage laminated wooden flooring on PCC floor etc. comprising with the following operation and as specified herein below and as directed :- (a) Taking down existing old wooden flooring with polyfilm membrane compound including cleaning & removing debris to a distance exc 100m & n.exc.250m. (b) Treating the surface with termit chemical by drilling 6mm holes at a downward angle of about 45 degree at the junction of woodwork & masonry and squirting chemical emulsion into these holes till refusal and the treated holes shall be sealed. (c) Preparing & cleaning of fully dried surface of floor and repairing the surface by cement mortar 1:3 and making the surface leakage proof & seepage proof and levelled by grinding or applying putty to receive wooden foor perfectly . (d) Laying a layer of 1 mm (minimum) thick waterproofing Polypropylene membrane shall be accumulated in room temperature upto 48 to 72 hrs. (e) Fixing laminated wooden floor tiles made out of size 1214x193x12(mm) of grade AC-4 with tannon and grooves joints. (f) Providing best quality wooden floor cornice size 100x20 mm to conceal the joints between the floor and the wall to make it look neat and beautiful. Note : Sample of laminated wooden floor tiles & cornice shall be submitted by the contractor before procurement.
