REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF EOT CRANE LOCATED AT VARIOUS LOCATION ALONGWITH CERTAIN MISC WORK AT 39 WING AF STN UDHAMPUR

Overall accessed servicing of electrically operated over head travelling cranes Normal/Flame Proof (EOT) double girder type of 2.0 tonne capacity installed at Bldg No 1, 3, 5, 7,9 & 13 at Air Force Station Udhampur comprising of electric motor for long travel, hoist motion, creeping micro speed and electrical control panel consisting of MCCBs/main switches, step down transformer, contactors, HRC fuses & mechanical wire rope with drum, brake unit, gear boxes, oil levels, motor bed ends, electrical control cables etc. throughout the time period of the contract comprising of material, labour and T&P for routine, periodical, servicing including greasing etc all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.Make :- NRS TIIB Note: For Items No 1 :- (a) All spare parts required during maintenance shall be measured and paid as S&F separately. (b) The servicing of crane throughout the contract period shall be responsibilty of contractor and shall be quoted accordingly. (c) Minor repair/checking fault/Testing/commissoining of work shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate as such under mentioned work :- (i) Motors – Check terminal connections slip rings, carbon bushes alignment of motors, couplings, clutches, breakes if any tight/adjust if required. (iii) Wire Rope – Check lubrication and number of broken wires, Hook – Check for free rotation of hook, lubrication of moving parts. (iii) Electrical – Check contactor tips limit switch operating mechanism including connections & testing of LT panel of crane complete. (iv) Checking of all movement i.e Long Travel, Cross travel/ hoist lifting motion. (v) The record of servicing will be maintained by Contractor, it should be duly signed by user and MES Rep and at the time of payment contractor will produce the same. (vii) Oiling/greasing of bearing of all wheel LT/CT motion mechanism included in the quoted rate. (vii) Cleaning of all parts and rail/wheel of cranes complete all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-charge. (ii) The load testing for LT/CT/hoist motion will be done in the presence of MES Rep and User will be done by contractor and the record of load testing will be maintained duly signed by User and MES Rep.

M & L for Load testing as per regulations of EOT Gantry for crane of 2.0 tonne capacity at full load including arrangement of dead load all T&P required for testing including brake adjustment complete all as specified and directed directed by Engg in charge Note : (i) The load for load testing and shifting arrangement of load will be done by contractor the rates for the same deemed to be included in quoted rates. (ii) The load testing for LT/CT/hoist motion will be done in the presence of MES Rep and User will be done by contractor and the record of load testing will be maintained duly signed by User and MES Rep.

Attending the urgent nature of complaint of EOT crane at Air Force Stn Udhampur of any capcity on emergency call given by concern JE, Engr-in- charge round the clock (any time of day or night) by providing skilled service engineer/ mechanic of any number for locating the electircal/ mechanical fault including rectification on the same day or subsequent days upto the satification level of the user/MES all as directed by Engr-in- charge. Note :- (i) Spare parts to be replaced will be paid as S& F separately under revelant items considered the schedule. (ii) A panelty of Rs- 3000/- will be imposed for not attending the complaint within 12 hours after intimation. (ii) A panelty of Rs. -500/- per hour will be imposed for not rectification of the fault after pointing out the fault. (iv) The contractor will be responsible to providing T &P as per site requirement to the person deployed. (v) Site visit by the contractor/service engineer/mechanic for any number of time required to make EOT crane serviceable condition / upto satisfaction of user will be considered only one job. Quoted rate deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (VI) any minor parts which is not included in BOQ but required for satisfactory operation of EOT crane deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

S & F in repair HRC fuse contacts suitable for 2.0 ton EOT gantry complete with base from 5 to 16 Amps capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repair step down transformer suitable for 2.0 ton EOT gantry complete all as specified & directed by Eng-in-Charge.

S & F in repair single phase preventor suitable for 2.0 ton EOT gantry complete all as specified & directed by Eng-in-Charge.

S & F in repair timer relay suitable for 2.0 ton EOT gantry complete all as specified & directed by Eng-in-Charge.

S & F in repair HRC fuse contacts suitable for 2.0 ton EOT gantry complete with base from 20 to 40 Amps capacity complete all as specified & directed by Eng-in-Charge.

S & F in reapir brake shoe thrust assembly with lining set suitable for main hoist and for vertical drive complete of size 2.0 Ton capacity complete all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-Charge.

S & F in repair of brake liner of electro thruster brake assy for crane capacity of 2.0 ton installed at different location at AF stn udhampur complete all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-charge.

S & F in repair flame proof push button for pendant including necessary connection & testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F in repair flame proof emergency stop switch for pendant including necessary connection & testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F in repair contactor 3 phase 415 volts as required at site of following sizes:-

ML 2- contactor suitable for 2 Ton Crane.

S & F in repair breaking resister 415 v 3 phase 2/3 H P Flame froof electric motor complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repair flame proof limit switch of 40 amps rating with one NO & one NC for long travel & cross travel complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repair flame proof limit switch of 40 amps rating with rotory gear of main hoist complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair variable speed drive in flame proof sheet metal enclosure suitble for electric operated 2.00 ton capacity of 2 HP/3 HP crane installed at site to control cross travel,long travel/hoist etc speed including necessary connection & testing complete all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in rapair flame proof pendent suitable for 2 ton cap gantry complete all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in repair wheel bearing of existing size complete all as directed by Engr-in- charge.

Dismantling & taking down existing unservible long travel wheel to the workshop and repairing the same by filling of bronze material by welding and brazing, turnig, grinding & refixing the same in working condition complete all as directed by Engr-in- charge. (i) All T & P required for dismantling of wheel will be provided by the contractor. (ii) To & Fro of wheel to workshop for machine work will be included in quoted rate.

Dismantling & taking down existing unservible cross travel wheel to the workshop and repairing the same by filling of bronze material by welding and brazing, turnig, grinding & refixing the same in working condition complete all as directed by Engr-in- charge. (i) All T & P required for dismantling of wheel will be provided by the contractor. (ii) To & Fro of wheel to workshop for machine work will be included in quoted rate.

Dismantling / taking down unserviceable / worm out existing of flame proof/ non flame proof motor mounted on rail and rewinding of motor of cap 2 HP/ 3 HP 415 volt 3 phase with and including provision enameled copper conductor of existing weight size and design incl varnishing baking and testing along with replacement of gasket and others flame proof sealing items etc complete all as specified by Eng-in-charge.

S&F in repair FRLS control cable copper stranded conductor unarmoured 1100 volt grade PVC insulated PVC sheathed complete with Supprting steel/GI wire and clamps for fixing all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down existing worn out/damaged existing steel wire rope by cutting/grinding from exising drum/ with crane and M& L for new steel wire rope of 10 mm dia with hemp core rope made in 6x36 pttern length of existing make and specifications suitable for 2.0 ton capacity Gantry including necessary D clamp nut bolt washers etc if required at site complete complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-charge.

Taking down existing worn out/damaged existing steel wire rope by cutting/grinding from exising drum/ with crane and M& L for new steel wire rope of 12 mm dia with hemp core rope made in 6x36 pttern length of existing make and specifications suitable for 2.0/2.5 ton capacity Gantry including necessary D clamp nut bolt washers etc if required at site complete complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-charge.

Dismantling & taking out travelling crab of double guarder 2.5/ 2.0 Ton capacity electric operated Gantry for rectification of fault and reinstalling the same including replacing bearing , bush, gears of existing make and size complte including turning, welding, grinding all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-Charge.

Dismantling & taking out gear box 2500/2000/1000/500 Kg capacity electric operated Gantry for rectification of fault and reinstalling the same including replacing of unserviceable bearing, bush, gear of existing make and size and testing complete as per site requirement all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-charge.

Dismantling of Gear box from the EOT crane of capacity 2.0 ton and rectification of oil leakage incl replacement of oil seal/gasket etc for full satisfaction of user all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-charge.

M & L to replace /topping up of gear oil with new gear oil HD90 suitable for gantry all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling & taking out of bearing block & S & F with the new of existing as per size complete all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-Charge..

Supply and fixing Nut bolts and washers of any size and any type as required at site complete all as specified and directed by the eng-in-charge.

M & L for dismantling of unserviceable rotating shaft & keyways from travelling crab and transporting to & fro to workshop for checking & repairing and making new keyways including inserting new key as per existing/site requirement for fully functional of EOT crane complete all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-charge. Note : All T&P and labour as per site requirement will be arranged by the contractor.

Supply and Fix in repair angle iron 40x40x6 mm thick in the wall for mounting the pendent complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge . Note: Rate including all civil work and making the surface good after finishing the wall.

S&F in repair XLPE insulated ,screened,PVC bedded,galvanised steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cable (heavt duty) with aluminium conductor,1100 volts,grade cross sectional area 70 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-Charge.

S&F in rapairs for XLPE insulated ,screened,PVC bedded,galvanised steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cable (heavt duty) with aluminium conductor,1100 volts,grade cross sectional area 150 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-Charge.

M&L for XLPE insulated ,screened,PVC bedded,galvanised steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cable (heavt duty) with aluminium conductor,1100 volts,grade cross sectional area 35 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation / laying of pipes and getting out.

Returning, filling in any type of soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

Sand cushioning for 8 cm before laying the cable and then after laying the cable 15 cm width of trenches for protection of cables including punning down complete all as specified. Note :- Thickness of sand cushioning shall be the thickness after punning down.

Supply and fixing of Brick tiles; common burnt clay building /ducts bricks’ sub-class `B’ Designation 75 (230mmx115mmx75mm)
