REPAIR/MAINT AND IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN LOW TENSION UNDER GROUND CABLES OVER HEAD LINES, LT PANEL, APFC PANEL AND ALLLED WORKS AT K AREA UNDER GE CHANDIGARH.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth; for laying of cable,poles stay etc. and getting out complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenchs .exc. 1.5 mtr in depth but not exceeding 3 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each complete all as specified.

Removing excavated spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified.

Sand cushioning with clean dry sand to cables with layer of sand 8cm before laying of cable and 15cm thick after laying of cable complete all as specified. Note : For payment purpose punned thickness of 18cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23cm as mentioned in para 19.75 of SSR part-I

Supply and laying of class B bricks for under ground cable protection as directed by Engineer- in - charge

Taking out existing damage/unservisable PVC\ XLPE insulated, armoured, aluminium conductor 1100V grade cable of any size and core from trenches, pipes, walls and/or poles, complete all as specified . Note: Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for separaetly

Supply & Laying of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric cables (heavy duty) cross sectional area 400 sq. mm, 3.5 core,stranded aluminium conductor including cable glands, cable lugs etc , to suit the cable size, 1100 volt grade, ISI marked, laid in trenches or fixing along the poles or passing through the pipes or laid under floors or through walls/ducts etc. complete all as specified.

S&F street light bracket made out of 40/32mm dia fancy type top mounted, 1.50 mtr long GI tubing, "medium grade" ISI marked, bent to required shape and angle as per site requirement with and including MS clamps size 30X6mm, with nuts, bolts, washers etc for fixing street light fittings and bracket, duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of Junction box made out of thermo plastic material of size 240x130x110 mm with provision of three phase cable connector incomming and out going with MCB SP 6-32 amps for security light fitting/PTL IP 65 protection totally enclosed weather proof with cable entry along with GI clamps nut bolts & washer fixed on pole including dismantling/taking out old unserviceale one all as directed.

S&F PVC insulated copper wire FRLS of size 2.5 Sqmm (nominal area) 3 core for street light as directed by Engr -in-charge.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation filling & mass concrete for poles/struts/stays assembly including provision of necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in coping/padestal to poles including provision of necessary form work finishing the exposed surface even and smooth in cement mortar 1:3 and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Boring of holes under road,pavement.hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine for inserting GI pipe upto 100mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of surfaces of LT Steel poles by and painting applying one coats of aluminium paint and writing pole number in black and yellow. Strip upto 1.5 mtr height at an intervals of 30cm each from the ground level and above coping for 09.00 mtr pole including Pole marking (Pole Numbers in 12 cm round circle in white colour and marking of pole numbers with black colour word size 7 cm long) all as directed at site.

Note: For the purpose of arriving at lumpsum amount, the amount of credit schedule i.e Sch 'A' section II (i.e Rs 1,38,050.00 shall be deducted from the total amount arrived.
