Excavation in trenches for laying of cables, poles and stay not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr deep and getting out.in soft/loose soil complete all as specified

All as per item no 1 above but depth exceeding 1.5 metre and not exceeding 3.00 metre deep and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning & filling in, including spreading and leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Punned thickness will be measured)

M&L for unreinforced precast concrete cable cover class HVP type -I with peak, of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing n.exc. 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil for clearance of ground surrounding the sub stations and E/M installations complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of Danger notice plate, 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts & nuts of approved size for HT, 250mm x 200mm and testing on completion including application of two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation for pole/stay etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping of pole including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured earthed electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium couductor 11/6.35 KV grade suitable for earthed system cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core underground cable, laid in trenches/through GI pipe/fixed along with pole complete all as specified & directed. Make : HAVELLS/PLAZA/POLYCAB/UNIVERSAL/GLOSTAR as approved by GE (Note -Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this BoQ.)

M&L XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured earthed electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium couductor 11/6.35 KV grade suitable for earthed system cross sectional area 120 sqmm 3 core underground cable, laid in trenches/through GI pipe/fixed along with pole complete all as specified & directed. Make : HAVELLS/PLAZA/POLYCAB/UNIVERSAL/GLOSTAR as approved by GE (Note -Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this BoQ.)

S & F steel tubing GI light grade, 100 mm bore, for cable protection passing under road /floor or for fixing to poles including taking down old unservicaeble GI tube complete all as specified and as directed . Make - JINDAL /ZENITH/TATA as approved by GE

Drilling (Horizontally) to existing road (maximum 10M wide) suitable for passing GI tubing of dia upto 80mm/ 100mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for drilling shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply and stringing ACSR conductor for over head line securing on pole complete including binding wire , jointing sleeves aluminium tap and PG clamp etc of any size all as specified and as directed. Make : Indian Aluminium Co or Bharat conductor or Aluminium India as approved by GE. Note- (i) Weight of ACSR or all aluminium conductor drawn for OH lines is to be measured by measuring taut horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductor of that size and length and 3% extra added for sag, jointing, jumpers and binding wires etc. (ii) Weight of conductor shall be calculated from tables given in the relevant IS.

Dismantling old serviceable ACSR conductor and Stringing only for over head line securing on pole including binding wire etc, of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F GI continuous earth wire & cradle 4mm dia on cross arms of poles for guarding including binding with aluminium wire 16 SWG etc. including taking down old unservicaeble GI earthwire complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix expulsion fuse, single pole, 11 KV, breaking capacity 50 Amp complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- ABB Model No 1YMB710713M1512 or Equivalent Make as approved by GE.

S & F Pin type insulator, 150mm height and 150mm dia for 11000 Volts grade, porcelain white, brown or green including one GI spindle, two GI washer, one GI nut including taking down old unservicaeble insulators complete all as specified and as directed. Repair/servicing of existing Gang Operated Devices (GOD) and decarbonising properly the device mechanism fixed with nut and bolts by using petrolium gel, proper jumpering with P-G clamp and replacement of unserviceable part of the GOD. Note :- replacement of items like P-G clamp, insulator, link (male-female) etc and conductor shall be measured and paid for separately as "Supply only" under relevant items of this BoQ.

Dehydration of tranformer oil, obtained from POWER TRANSFORMER , 33/11 KV etc. Dielectric strength shall not be less than 40 KV in 2.5 mm gap electrode after dehydration, dehydration of transformer shall be carried out by using electrically operated dehydration machine including replacement of unserviceable silica gel and toping up/ replacement of unserviceable transformer oil complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE :-- Transformer oil & silica gel shall be measured and paid for separately against respective item as "supply only".)

Supply only transformer oil of approved quality, ISI marked, for filling in transformer for topping up/ replacement in 33 KV/11KV Transformer complete all as specified and as directed ( MAKE: POWER/CASTROL/SERVO) NOTES : (i) Dielectric strength of transformer oil shall not be less then 60 KA with 2.5 mm gap (ii) New Transformer oil shall be filled to Transformer after filtration only and cost thereto for filtration is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall supply transformer oil to the Dept in a sealed barrel only.

M& L for disconnecting carefully electrical connection from HT/LT sides of the transformer, keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer, outdoor type, 63 to 100 KVA, 33 /11KV step down, any Make and carrying out to workshop for overhauling which shall comprise of the followings :-

Lifting/ transporting/ handling,the transformer to workshop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts,washers etc including disconnecting core assembly from HT/LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/body) of the transformer complete all as directed.

Draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer, in the container/drums of suitable capacity and keeping it in safe custody for reuse.

Cleaning of the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt/sludge/foreign particles etc from the bottom/body of the transformer and drying/heating up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil complete all as directed.

Cleaning/washing through core and windings of the tansformer by hosing down with clean dry oil conforming to IS 335 amended upto date, ,removing deposited dirt sludge/foreign particles from the windings/core and revarnishing of the windings with super varnish including heating/drying/packing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc all as per IS and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Lifting and refixing core assembly inside the transformer shell, gently and carefully,connecting HT/LT/Neutral connections to the bushings assembly,fixing of the tap change over including tightening of nut,bolts,washers of the core to reduce humming noise all as directed.

Refilling the transformer oil in the shell of transformer, only after carrying out filtration by heating oil upto 105 degree Centigrade so as to achieve required dielectric strength and submitting the test result before and after filtration of oil in presence of Engr-in-Charge on proper proforma duly signed.

Refixing the top cover including replacement of cork sheet/gasket ,tightening of nut, bolt,washers etc all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Lifting/shifting to the place from where transformer was removed and reinstalling the transformer including connecting HT/LT/Neutral/Earthing connections etc all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Any damage to insulator/bushes/windings etc while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good by the Contractor without any extra cost to Govt.The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody by Engineer-in-Charge.

The job taken for repair/overhauling should be completed within 48 hours from the date of handing over the individual transformer,failing which necessary arrangement to be made by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

Rewinding / re-insulation of HT/LT coil will be measured and paid for separately under relavant item of this BoQ.

Taking out the existing unserviceable cable, any Make & size, for repair and relaying after repair including rerouting the cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note - Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for separately against relevant item of this BoQ.

S & F, in replacement, TNC switch 2No+2NC of 25 Amp suitable for existing panel complete all as specified and directed. Make:- L&T cat part No. 72009SEB03PGYR or equivalent Make as approved by GE.

S & F, in replacement, indicating lamp and holder assembly LED type rated voltage 24 AC/DC of existing colour suitable for existing HT panel complete all as specified and directed. Make:- L&T/Seimens/schneider or equivalent Make as approved by GE.

Disconnecting the existing unserviceable HT cable, 11KV, any make & size with route tracing instrument to trace the route of buried cable with fault locating instrument suitable to locate and pin point faults in HT cables to 11/33 KV cables including inpulse generator 0 -11/33 KV and repair including straight through outdoor 11/33 kv jointing kit all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for separately against relevant item of this BoQ

Supply and fix breather of transformer of various capacities filled with silica gel including taking out unserviceable breather complete all as specified and as directed .

Supply and filling new silica gel, blue colour, in dehydrating breather complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for General maintainance of 33KV VCB including out door unit & indoor panel of VCB of different capacities which consist of the followings:-

Calibration & Testing of over current & Earth fault relay by primary & secondary ejection methods.

Insulating of VCB track, greasing of wheel and checking for movement for closing and withdrawing of VCB track.

Cleaning/wiping the insulating components, primary & secondary circuits i.e green spots, carbon deposit completely.

Testing of primary & secondary circuit with 1000 Volts megger for insulation resistance.

Flash testing of secondary circuit at 2000Volts for one minute after disconnecting the instruments from the panel.

Testing, synchronisation/calibration of meters and relays.

Cleaning/wiping of busbar, phase barriers, Busbar support and sleeves.

Material and labour for painting of POWER transformer 33/11 KV , 3.15/1.6 MVA indoor/out door type with smoke grey colour synthetic enamel paint two coat over the existing paint after cleaning and removing the dust and durt and cleaning with sand paper complete including writing SM Nos and MES No on transformer body with letters, 100 mm heigh with white synthetic enamelled paint complete for transformer complete all as specified and as directed by Engg-in-charge

Material and labour for painting of panels/ feeder pillar box and transformer outdoor type installed at 33 KV sub station with smoke grey colour synthetic enamel paint two coat over the existing paint after cleaning and removing the dust and durt and cleaning with sand paper complete all as specified and as directed by Engg-in-charge

Labour only for cleaning/trimming of bushes/tree branches around LT/HT lines up to 3.0 M all around from outer conductor of two pole or four pole structure by trimming of tree branches, any numbers and of any girth existing at site/ ground complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) One span having 50 metre span shall be considered from one pole to another pole or from one fixing point to another fixing point as per site conditions and all cutting branches of the tree shall be thrown away at approximately 200 to 500 metre away from site. (ii) All necessary T&P required at site for cleaning of bushes around LT/HT lines shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to include for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
