SCHEDULE ‘A’ PART-I (ITEM RATE) Repair/maint of existing pipelines filtration plan for HQ IGAR (S) at Mantripukhri (Rs.1,98,099)

Providing and fixing G.I. pipes complete with G.I. fittings including trenching and refilling etc. External work 100 mm dia nominal bore.

Providing and fixing C.I. sluice valves (with cap) complete with bolts, nuts, rubber insertions etc. (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately) :150 mm diameter Class I

Providing and fixing gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) : 100 mm nominal bore

Providing and fixing G.I. Union in existing G.I. pipe line, cutting and threading the pipe and making long screws, including excavation, refilling the earth or cutting of wall and making good the same complete wherever required :100 mm nominal bore

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes,having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching, refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge.40 mm nominal dia Pipes

Dismantling G.I. pipes (external work) including excavation and refilling trenches after taking out the pipes, manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of pipes within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : 15 mm to 40 mm nominal bore

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Grading roof for water proofing treatment with Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : Old work (One or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm).
