M&L for dismantling of various components of Electrically Operated Crane of capacity ranging from 2 Ton to 10 Ton of any span of cross/long travel and height of hoist for carrying out overhauling and repairing as detailed under various items here-in-after and re-fixing the components in its position after carrying out overhauling/repair work including cleaning tracks with approved cleanser, greasing for smooth running of wheels, pulleys, steel wire rope, etc and replacing minor extras / hard ware as required, painting of crane with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint including LT, CT, etc after preparation of surfaces & writing the technical details of Crane as per existing data and load testing of crane as per relevant IS after carrying out all repair works complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Repair/overhauling of EOT Crane shall be carried out through authorized service agency of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contractor shall submit documentary proof/evidence in this regard before taking EOT Cranes under repair, overhauling, etc. (ii) Make and model of part to be replaced shall be same as used/recommended by OEM. (iii) Repairing/replacement of unserviceable main components catered for separately under respective items of this Schedule shall be measured & paid for separately. (iv) Load as required for testing shall be arranged by the user/department. However, transportation of load for testing from the place of issue and return to the place of issue shall be responsibility of the contractor. (v) Contractor shall give a certificate after repair/overhauling of EOT Crane that Crane is serviceable & fully functional in all respect and ready to use for load.

M&L for repair/overhauling/servicing of Gear Box of EOT Crane of following capacity including cleaning, recutting, polishing the gear teeth after remetalling and making good, remetalling of driving shaft, machining, finishing, polishing and making good for smooth running of crane, replacing worn out bushes, bearings on drive and non drive ends, reassembling all the components after necessary repair works, replacing the gear oil of the gear box upto required level, making adjustment to ensure trouble free smooth running of gear system complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Repair/overhauling/servicing of Gear Box shall be carried out through authorized service agency of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contractor shall submit documentary proof/evidence in this regard before taking Gear Box under repair, overhauling, servicing, etc. (ii) Make and model of part to be replaced shall be same as used/recommended by OEM. (iii) Gear oil, ball bearing, spare parts as required shall be measured and paid for separately as 'Supply only' under respective items of this Schedule.

M&L for repair/overhauling the Thruster of following capacity of EOT Crane with gear holding breaks / Hoist / Creep / Cross travel and Long travel, rewinding the burnt out winding of electromagnetic thruster coil with super enamel copper wire of existing gauge and varnishing, heating and testing etc complete repairing of oil pump by replacing worn out parts, oil seal, ‘O’ ring and bush and bearing - 02 Nos (6201), check nuts, lock pin all as required including draining out old unserviceable oil complete all as specified & as directed :- Notes : (i) Repair/overhauling of Thruster shall be carried out through authorized service agency of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). S&F Steel wire rope 16 mm dia, 6 x 36 construction with tensile strength of 180 Kg/Sqmm with a factor of safety of 6 suitable for lifting load of 10 Ton including greasing complete all as directed including taking down old unserviceable steel rope. Make : Usha / Bombay Foot / National or as used/recommended by OEM. Notes : (i) The steel rope shall be best performed plough straight non rotating type conforming to IS-2266. (ii) The breaking strength of the rope shall not be less than 6 time the safe working load thereon. (iii) Test Certificate of manufacturer shall be submitted by the contractor.

M&L for dismantling of following motors from 10 Ton / 2 Ton capacity EOT cranes, stripping out worn out bearings after dismantling including rewinding with super enameled copper wire of appropriate gauge as per existing and applying heat varnish properly with fine quality, replacement of ball bearing, insulating materials etc., and reassembling and fixing at its original position, testing complete all as specified & as directed :-
