Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E - Procurement Portal

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner otherwise it will be rejected.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original, Submit the original document at the time of technical bid opening or next day and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the original documents before approval

If any, additional information required, the same may be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, PW, &IWTD, No. 2 Building Division , Bangalore during office hours on all working days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a General Holiday , the next working day will be considered

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons

The contractors assessed available tender capacity shall be more than the tender value, it will be calculated as per the Standard tender document Attached.

The Tender processing fee shall not be refundable.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act.

The Bidder shall not furnish any fake/fabricated/false information or withhold facts etc., if the bidder is found to have violated any of these above (found either during evaluation or after awarding the tender), the tender shall be rejected and action as per rules and regulations shall be taken against the Bidder.

If the Successful Bidder has quoted lesser rates than the estimated rates then he should without fail remit the Unbalanced Tender Amount along with the Security Deposit within the stipulated time as that shall be specified in the Letter of Acceptance, failing which the tender of the Successful Bidder shall be rejected

The bidders should submit the Bid capacity compulsorily. The details of balance work B value (works on hand & works for which tender submitted). Should be submitted in the prescribed format & should be signed by the concerned Executive Engineer / District level officer. In case the bidder does not furnish the above details/suppresses the actual facts/ produces false facts, along with the Technical bid, the technical bid of such bidder shall be considered for rejection

All the items of work as Maintained in the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) are including lead and lift charges loading and unloading charges labour charges all incidental charges hire charges of all machinery and equipment required for successful completion of work etc., complete. The work shall be executed as per standard technical specification and directions of Engineer in charge of the work

Terms and condition of Contract as per Approved STD KW-1.

The quoted rates by the bidder shall be EXCLUDING GST

If the bidder quoted less than the amount put to tender, the bidder should purchase DD/FDR for the Actual difference Amount in the name of Executive Engineer, No.2 Buildings Division, Bangalore (Work Indent No..) before the last date of the receipt and the same has to be submitted within two days after opening the financial bid without fail. If the DD/FDR had not purchased within the stipulated date/ any discrepancy in the DD/FDR and failing to submit the original copy to the Division office, such bid will be REJECTED
