SOIL INVESTIGATION WORKS: Soil Investigation at the proposed construction sites at location of watch towers (9.5 Mtr height) by drilling 100mm dia bore hole up to a depth of 10m below the ground level or 1m in to the hard rock strata (whichever is earlier) in any type of strata complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Notes for item No. 11 above : (a) Mobilization of tools, plants, equipments and manpower required for carrying out soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling as required and later demobilization of plants and equipments after completion of work. (b) Collecting undisturbed and disturbed samples and performing STP test at every 1.5m interval. (c ) Conveyance of sample collected at site to the testing lab as required for the purpose of testing and analysis. (d) Lab testing including triaxial test, direct shear test, liquid limit, plastic limit, plasticity index, grain size, specific gravity, ground water table, soil classification, bore logs and bore hole chart, permissible settlement,unconsolidated test on undisturbed sample, crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered, unconsolidated triaxial shear test etc. (e) Estimation of SBC of soil. (f) Submitting photographic record during the process. (g) Submitting test report in triplicate, duly vetted along with detailed recommendation about type of foundation required. (h) Review of structural design based on the actual SBC obtained after soil investigation and submitting six copies of Structural Design and Drawings vetted by any IIT/NIT/Govt. College of Engg/University Institute of Technology complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for trial pit excavation in any type of soil of size 1.2mx1.2mx2.0m and getting undisturbed and disturbed samples for performing necessary tests to obtain bearing capacity of soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY: Material and labour for cutting the existing hardstanding not less than 25cm in deeep and 45cm in width for laying of underground cable through GI pipe and making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F cable path indicator for LT cable made out of cast iron plate of 100 mm dia, 6 mm thick engraved with "LT 1100 volts" welded to MS angle 50x50x6mm, 75 cm long embedded in PCC block (1:3:6) type C-2 of size 30x30x30cm including painting with two coats of blue colour synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer and necessary earth work complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Cable Junction box 200x160x98mm in size made out of thermoplastic sheet having IP 66 protection for outdoor installation fixed with 4 way bakelite cable terminals including 03 Nos polymide gland with check nut (M-32 - 02 Nos) fixed on poles with flat iron clamps of size 25x3cm nuts,bolts,washers etc including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and including 6 Amp SP MCB for controlling light etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

INTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY: S & F high intensity Discharge search light motor operated of capacity 1000 Watts including necessary fixing arrangements complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

SEWAGE DISPOSAL:: S&F 5 users on site LLDPE septic tank designed to carry sewage and sullage water, excavation in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 below foundation, of upflow including filter media Vent shaft, connection etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for construction of soakage well of size 1.2m dia 1.5m effective depth, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, foundation in PCC 1:3:6, wall of honey combed masonry with top ring of M-25 concrete including intercepting chamber and screen chamber made of PCC block masonry with CM, RCC cover slab in M-25, interconnecting pipes, complete filled with brick bats complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix framed work as in doors or gates of stainless steel of grade 304 (16702), ASTM (86221) standard welded types (12143), ISO (20239) certified of size 50x50mm width or depth and outer dia 60.3mm of medium graded stainless steel in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. At the top of the door spike should be provided for security purpose for main gate and should be provided a small inspection window for viewing outside of the gate when closed from inside etc complete using ERW or induction but welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St-304, drilled for fixing of stainless steel sheeting or other covering, etc to be prepared for hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting) and hanging, also stainless steel fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and Fix SS Sheet of 2 mm thickness of grade 314L polished with induction butt welded complete all as specified and as directed.
