Material and labour for Repairs to potholes any depth not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 at 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam with 4% binder content, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 75 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with granite coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 mm to 40mm) or grading 3 (50mm to 20mm size), spread rolled and consolidated to require gradient and camber with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with mechanical blower or brooms to remove all loose dirt, materials etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces of repaired pothole by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with mechanical blower or brooms to remove all loose dirt, materials etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Applying evenly using pressure sprayer a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 at 5 kg / 10 Sqm over bituminous surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Applying evenly using pressure sprayer a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 at 10 kg / 10 Sqm over WBM surfaces of repaired pothole complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM), as in profile layer, with grading 2 of IRC laid in layers of 50mm or less (consolidated) thickness using 4.0% binder content by weight of total mix, with paving bitumen of grade VG-30 using hot mix plant spread, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using mechanical sensor paver and rolled to a uniform, smooth surface using Tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes:-

(a) Contractor shall quote his rate by considering 4.0% bitumen content. If If binder content found less than 4.0% by weight of total mix at site, the necessary price adjutment shall be made for the less weight of binder only at the rate of Rs 42/- per Kg if technically acceptable. No other claim whatsoever on account of this will be allowed.

(b) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in the execution of work under this item.

(c) DBM shall be as per MORTH specifications including minimum binder content mention therein and as detailed in particular specifications.

(d) Supply and mixing of hydrated lime or cement or both in case TSR is less than 80% is deemed to be included rate quoted.

(e) The marshall stability shall be a minimum of 900 kg.

(f) The coarse aggregate for DBM shall be granite stone.

Material andlabour for Bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% minimum binder content by weight of total mix, (paving bitumen VG-30) and filler of 2 % cement, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform, smooth surface using Tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) Contractor shall quote his rate by considering 5.5% bitumen content. If binder content found less than 5.5% by weight of total mix at site, the necessary price adjutment shall be made for the less weight of binder only at the rate of Rs 42/- per Kg if technically acceptable. No other claim whatsoever on account of this will be allowed.

(b) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in the execution of work under this item.

(c) Cement shall be used as filler at a minimum of 2% by weight of total mix. In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of filler content on plus side, nothing extra shall be paid.

(d) The coarse aggregate for SDAC shall be granite stone.

Material and labour for Preparing black top road surface including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc and marking 2.5mm thick center line,stop lines,dashes,arrows ets the like (Retro reflective) of specified shade/colour on road using hot thermoplastic material conforming to IS-164(1981) by fully automatic thermoplastic road marking paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser including glass beads, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions all as per BS EN 1871, BS EN 1423 and BS EN 1424 complete as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Complete removal of existing road marking strips of any description and Preparing black top road surface including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc and marking 2.5mm thick center line,stop lines,dashes,arrows ets the like (Retro reflective) of specified shade/colour on road using hot thermoplastic material conforming to IS-164(1981) by fully automatic thermoplastic road marking paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser including glass beads, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions all as per BS EN 1871, BS EN 1423 and BS EN 1424 complete as specified and directed.

Material andlabour for Removing old CAT eyes and taking on credit and provision of new Duo directional CAT eyes (Road studs) of size 100mmx110mmx20mm made up of weather resistant high impact polymer conforming to ASTM D4280 and having electronically welded micro prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating and fixed with 2 Nos of polymer shanks and epoxy adhesive conforming to IS as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Make shall of Cat No. DA-52 of Dark Eye or its equivalent of makes as listed here-in-after as approved by GE.

All as per item No above but of size 90mmx110mmx17mm

Dismantling interlocking floor tiling incl sand cushion (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete, 1:4:8, type D2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate, 100mm thick as in sub-base to floor complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete, 1:5:10, type E2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate, 100mm thick as in sub-base to floor complete all as specified and as directed.

Material andlabour for Spreading and leveling coarse M-sand as cushioning for interlocking paver block paving , complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size conforming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and as directed.NOTE : Paver block retrived from BOQ item No 14 shall be fixed under this item

Material andlabour for Plain cement concrete, type B0, 1:2:4, using 12.5mm graded granite stone aggregate as in kerbs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles, including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Chequered cement concrete tiles with Grey cement and no pigment of size 20cmx 20cmx 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors t over 15mm thick screed bed of CM 1:4

Material and labour for 40mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (20mm graded aggregate) as in flooring, finishing the surfaces concrete topping even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
