Part A: Labour Wage Component & Liveries

Wages of Six (06) unskilled manpower to be paid on monthly basis for upkeeping of Admin Building premises BKPL Barauni HQ premises including road, gardens and allied services in HR/Fin/Bihar Base. (Rs. 54/- to be paid over and above the minimum wage as notified by Ministry of Labours)

Providing one set of liveries to each manpower every year. For details refer SCC of tender docuemnt. The contractor has to submit original bill, upon verification of which by EIC, payment will be reimbursed. (Note:-Rate is for each manpower)

Part 'B': Miscellaneous Civil works.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:2:4 [1 cement : 2 coarse sand (Zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources]

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non-modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in : Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut Granite (of any colour and shade) for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels : Area of slab over 0.50 sqm

Providing edge moulding to 18 mm thick Marble/ Granite stone counters, Vanities etc., including machine polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc. complete as per design approved by the Engineer-in-Charge : Granite work

Providing and fixing panelled or panelled & glazed shutters 35 mm thick for doors, windows and clerestory windows fixing with butt hinges of required size with necessary screws, excluding panelling which will be paid for separately, all complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: Butt hinges and necessary screws shall be paid separately under relevant item of SOR] : Kiln seasoned and chemically treated hollock wood

Providing and fixing fly proof stainless steel grade 304 wire gauge, to windows and clerestory windows using wire gauge with average width of aperture 1.4 mm in both directions with wire of dia. 0.50 mm all complete :With second class teak wood beading 62x19 mm

Brick on edge flooring with bricks of class designation 7.5 on a bed of 12 mm cement mortar, including filling the joints with same mortar, with common burnt clay non modular bricks :Supplying and laying flat brick soling in foundation trench, in floors, garages, sumps, etc., with bricks of class designation 50 laid to proper slope, level and grade etc. filling of the joints with sand etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete flooring 25 mm thick of mix 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregates 12.5 mm nominal thickness), laid monolithically over base of concrete in panels at all locations and heights including treads of steps, nosing, landing slab etc. and finished with a floating coat of neat cement @ 2.20 Kg of cement per sqm of flooring, supplying and fixing 1.5 mm thick aluminium strips for full depth, chequering in floor finish if required, rounding, sloping, curing, finishing, preparation of slab, steps, etc., complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: Payment for base concrete shall be made under relevant item].

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the Manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 Kg/sq.m. including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete :Size of Tile 600x600 mm

Providing and laying 500x500x40 mm thick Turf paver (Turfpave XD) on 150 mm thick sub grade of compacted bed of 20 mm thick nominal size stone aggregate and base course and filling with 150 mm thick jamuna sand, including spreading, well ramming, consolidating and finishing smooth etc. all complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

FINISHING :1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand)

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (Ready Mix) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade : Old work (one or more coats applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) over priming coat of primer applied @ 0.80 litrs/10 sqm complete including cost of Priming coat.

Painting with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :One or more coats on old work

Applying priming coat :With ready mixed pink or Grey primer of approved brand and manufacture on wood work (Hard and soft wood).

Applying priming coat :With ready mixed aluminium primer of approved brand and manufacture on resinous wood and plywood.

Applying priming coat :With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works.

Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour :Two coats

Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work

Polishing on wood work with ready mixed wax polish of approved brand and manufacture : Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Repair to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area up to 2.5 SQM including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints, preparing and plastering the wall surface etc. complete, including disposal of rubbish at unobjectionable area outside Ownder's premises, all complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge : With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing on wall face Unplasticised Rigid PVC (uPVC) rainwater pipes (110 mm diameter, single socketed) conforming to IS:13592 Type-A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS:5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion.

Surface dressing of the ground in all kinds of soil including removing vegetation and in-equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, all works up to any lead & lift as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Internal Work - Exposed on wall: Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and testing of joints complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge :32 mm nominal outer dia pipes

Providing and fixing White Vitreous China Wash basin size 550x400 mm with C.I. brackets, 15 mm dia CP Brass single hole basin mixer of approved quality and make, including painting of fittings and brackets, cutting and making good the walls wherever required.

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fasteners of required diameter & length [Note: Hold fast lugs or Dash fasteners shall be paid separately under relevant item of SOR] : Second class teak wood

Providing and fixing heavy duty concealed type aluminium alloy hydraulic door closer of "DOORKING" or approved equivalent make & quality with necessary accessories, screws etc. and matching colour plate complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and using water proofing compound like CICO, PUDDLE or any other approved brand with Cement Plaster/ CC/ RCC complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing Stainless Steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: For payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.]

Disposal of moorum/ building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to designated location/ approved municiple dumping ground for lead up to 10 Km and for all lifts, complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: This item shall also be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement/ plying of load carrying motor vehicles of 3.5 cum or more.]

Point wiring - Supplying, installation and testing with 1.5 Sq.mm stranded PVC insulated copper conductor wires for phase & neutral of 650V grade including earthing by providing 1.5 Sq.mm earth insulated continutity wire of copper in PVC conduit (Supply & installation of PVC conduit covered elsewhere in SOR) recessed on wall/ceiling/ false celing including supply & installation of switch boxes,junction boxes, pull boxes, bushes, screws, check nuts, bends, modular switches and sockets . The circuit wiring with 4 Sq.mm PVC copper wire from D.B. to switchboard as required is also in the scope of the contractor: 1 light point controlled by 1 switch

Exhaust fan - Supply, installation, testing of single phase 230 V, industrial type heavy duty exhaust fan of GEC/Usha/Crompton Greaves or of approved make fitted/ provided with louvres, supports etc. including making the required opening on walls, fixing and connecting the wires etc. including earthing the body of the fan, making good the opening on the wall etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and direction of Site Engineer including the cost of all labour, tools, materials etc. complete. 12" sweep

12" Oscillating wall mounted bracket fan, noiseless, plastic moulded construction, rotary device for 3 step speed control integrated unit of approved make with all accessories complete in all respect.
